I remember when the Pound was Tess just posting a thread, and you'd have to post first to get the pets.
Oh and adopting tons of pumpkins to get a skeleton dog, because there was no adoption limit. :'D

Well I haven't been here as long as Somnus, but I remember when the pound was just like checking a group of pets and you could just go to the last page to find the rarest one. All the rare ones would be gone by the time I got there. ^^"

O yeah, I adopted like 50 or so pumpkins because I didn't get hardly any skele dogs
I think I ended up with like 5, but of course traded them away very poorly XD
But at the time, there were no rarities so noone really knew about trading "fairly"
(I love remembering the simpler days of CS with <5000 users :])

I remember when some of the pets didn't grow and how I got excited when the lineart changed and then they grew
When the most you could adopt of a pet was 15, no matter how many outcomes
I remember when people talked about making wishlists, but I didn't know what they were xD
I remember how on the old layout the button things were on the side, and I remember for the 'Adopt' button there was a picture of a dog and a rat xD

I loved the old layout, especially the Avian picture at the top, it's a vauge picture in my head.
I remember the pound button was a frowning coon newborn
The forum button was a target pup, and I know that the fan art button was like the three stages of a dog, not sure exactly which dog it was.
The old archive was a separate website sort of and was ran by Maus
I remember the old pound, it went by pages.
It was basically who ever had the fasted internet got teh rares.
I remember when Julies were faily common, and people weren't too big into being rude to newbies, and I was taught very well and got my first 08 pet within the first week, I remember being soo excited!
but i also remember getting ninjad.
I loved the April firework dogs, but I could never get a hold of one. Then someone offered ALL of them (except the PPS) For my wood angel. Since it didn't snow rarities I was unaware they were common at the time and the Angel was a pretty rare pet.

If I could log on my own account, I would get the trade and show it.
That angel was gifted to me by a my old best friend ( She betrayed me so we aren't friends any more)
and I was determined to get it back. Then I told a kind user my story and they kindly gave me an angel for roughly 3/4th of what they were wanting, so I made a trade wit the user to get the pet back, I still have the pet today <3
She's been on a rough journey.

Oh god it took me an hour to adopt all the pets.
And I was stupid enough to delete all my extras of 2nd gens becayse I knew they were going to be the same ;A;
I still regret it.

I remember when there were just wolves, butterfly wolves were relatively new, rats, and that was pretty much it.
