Cloudgaze stopped licking Cloverkit to respond to Stripestar with a nod. Silverleaf had helped her by describing their appearances as they were born. "Snowkit, Chubkit, Dovekit, Plumkit, Specklekit, Cloverkit, Tigerkit, and Bark-kit." She gave the names while touching each kit with her nose to indicate who was who, a happy purr in her voice.

Robinpaw and Sparrowpaw padded over to the large litter of kittens.

Robinpaw looked down at all of them. ''There are so many!'' She exclaimed. ''Why would you name one Chubkit? I would imagine being called chubby by your own mother would kind of hurt his feelings when he's older.''

Sparrowpaw poked a random kit and pushed it onto it's back. ''Which one is this?'' She asked Thrushleap. It wasn't one of the kits her mother named.

''Hi!'' Possumkit purred, now used to saying this word. She assumed all conversation was just saying 'hi' a bunch of times.

"Hi?" Shadowkit continued to ask. She didn't know what this sound meant.

"Yeah, I would have to agree with Robinpaw. What if he gets self conscious?" Spottedpaw asked his mother.

[Weredog]

Cloudgaze gave a soft sigh at Robinpaw's question and shook her head a bit. "A chub is a type of fish." She informed the apprentices. The kit in question was rather chubby looking though which did sort of influence the queen's choice of name.

Falconheart
"That'll be the leader's job to work out. Everyone should be happy with the decision though." Falconheart replied, tail swishing behind him.

Plumkit
The white kit mewed in protest as she felt herself being picked up. She didn't want to move. It was warm and comfortable where they were already. She could sense more cats. There were so many new smells and she didn't know who or what they belonged to.

Shellkit
He looked around at the other kits around him, mewing a hello to all of them.

''But what someone takes it out of context?'' Robinpaw asked.

''Hi hi!'' Possumkit said in response to Shadowkit's question.

Dovekit was waddling around, not exactly sure what to do.

''I guess you're right. Should we head back to the clan now? I doubt they'd still be fighting.'' Mottlefur said.

[Sunsmoke]

Stripestar purrs as he licks the kits. "They are cute Cloudgaze. And I am sorry." He nudge the kits as Snowkit ran into Dawnkit.

"Ohh." Spottedpaw went to watching the kits squirm around. They were all so funny and fluffy.

Cloverkit got quite a bit away from her siblings, for a kit who was only a few hours old, and was enough away that nobody was touching her and she felt safe. She lay down in her little corner of the clothes nest, curling up.

"HI???" Shadowkit was extremely confused.

Falconheart
"Yeah, lets head back." He replied, turning around and making a mental note to pick up the mouse on their way.

[Weredog]

"Then he has no business being friends with someone as judgmental as that anyways." Cloudgaze said with a decisive nod before licking the little tom they were talking about. "He has older siblings that can help stick up for him if anybody really tries to tease him."
