I'm Dovewing's Silence, there's a ceremony mentioned where the medicine cat sends the deceased to Starclan. They wish them a safe and swift journey to Starclan and promise to see them again. Sometimes if they were close to a cat, they whisper a message to said cat. You don't have to do it if you don't want to.
