Kestrelfern snarled, lashing her thick tail. "How dare he?!" This was an apprentice that tom just mauled for life! She bent to gently lick Jaypaw's ears, pelt burning with barely contained rage - and also sadness for this little tom. Barely as big as she was and he already had battle scars deeper than most Clan cats would ever know. "Does it hurt much? Can I get you anything-- water, a mouse?"

Jaypaw;;

"Can I have water? I-if it's not too much trouble.." Jaypaw began, then added the polite words quickly, fearful the she-cat would think he was greedy.

Sparrowpaw padded over to Jaypaw. ''Do you want some honey? I still have some left in that container.'' She said.

The she-cat managed a purr, swiping her tongue fondly over Jaypaw's shoulder. "Of course, that's why I offered!," she reminded gently. She glanced at Sparrowpaw as she came up. "I can get the honey as well?" She tilted her ginger head at Jaypaw.

Jaypaw;;

"I don't need honey.." Jaypaw was SURE other cats needed it more than he did, and of course he wanted others to have good things before he got good things.

[Sunsmoke]

Emberdream looks at her then lets out a sigh. "No I did."

He groaned and shifted, crying out in pain from the process. "Wh-what happened? Is everyone okay? Are Thrushleap and Jaypaw okay?" Sunspot rasped, eyes only narrow blue slits.

Jaypaw;;

Jaypaw lifted his head, gasping when he heard Sunspot speak. "Sunspot!" he meowed, his frown turning into a wide grin. Though he didn't move away from his spot since he was already quite close to the tom.

Foxsnap;;

Foxsnap frowned, unable to be REALLY angry with the tom. "Why?"

Emberdream looks at Foxsnap and mews. "He jumped at me and I bite his tail. He try to cut my ear. but I just reacted and grip the closest thing to me."

The ginger and white tom heard his name called and tried to sit up, falling to the ground hissing in pain. "Jaypaw, your tail... did I stop Emberdream? Is your tail okay?" he asked, trying to get a look at the apprentice's tail while his face was pressed against the ground, painful to move. For some reason, the eye not pressed against the ground was dark. Why couldn't he see out of the eye on the side he fell on?
