'There's the Great Journey, the story of the great Firestar, the story of Scourge, and more.' Halfmuzzle gazed down at him, noticing Sandpaw slowly creeping over to join.

"Hi Sandpaw," He meowed listening intently to Halfmuzzle. He gazed at the young she-cat, she was so pretty and nice, he really liked her but she never talked to him.

Halfmuzzle watched with a short chuckle, but then began speaking about how MoonClan came to be.
Sandpaw, in shock, turned to Thrushpaw. None of the apprentices had ever seemed interested in talking to her. 'Oh... Hello...' she replied, shyly

He jumped a foot in the air, his hackles raised. He settled down on the floor. "You can talk?" He meowed he had always assumed she was mute. "If you can talk, I want to be best friends with you!" He meowed excitedly.

Sandpaw flinched back as Thrushpaw leapt into the air, excitedly blabbering about him thinking her mute and wanting to be her friend. 'Uh... Yes, I can talk.'
