Cloudgaze left the apprentices so that they could talk among themselves in peace and went to stand relatively close to Silverleaf, but not so close as to make her uncomfortable or disrupt her work. She wanted to make sure that the medicine cat would attend to her son as soon as she was able even if she might be making somewhat of a nuisance of herself.

''You should bury it so we can look for more prey.'' Mottlefur suggested.

[blushy]

Falconheart
"Oh yeah, you're right." He said, pushing away some twigs, leaves, and dirt. He placed the mouse in the hole and covered it up, making an 'x' with sticks so he'd remember its place.

[scorpiongrasses]

''Well, let's go now.'' Mottlefur meowed. She started to walk forward again, occasionally sniffing the air for any sign of prey.

[blushy]

Falconheart
The tom trotted after her, his worry for the clan fading slightly. He sniffed around for prey, not finding anything yet.

Silverleaf

Silverleaf stepped back, done applying the herbs, and meowed softly into Sunspot's ear. "You'll be fine." She turned to look at Jaypaw, and she tried her best to keep her eyes from widening when she saw his tail.

Mottlefur sniffed the air but didn't smell anything either. She didn't let this get her hopes down and continued walking.

[Weredog]

Cloudgaze moved to stand just behind Jaypaw and licked the top of his head. She still didn't know just how bad his tail was but seemed to be much more relieved that Silverleaf was giving him some attention now.

He followed her, keeping an eye out for movement. He tried to think of some conversation starter. There had to be something, anything he could say. He blanked out though, afraid to say something stupid in front of her.
