Today a raichu spawned down at the beach, I tried to catch him because I really want a raichu! It was 823cp too, one of the best finds in the wild for me.
But it kept jumping out of the pokeballs even after I gave it razz berries. I ran out of pokeballs twice, ran to a close one, tried to catch him again...failed...ran for a little bit more into the middle of a park...spun the stops circle...ran back to the raichu spawn...Raichu's gone.
That was a big disappointment, including that I was suffering silently through major stomach pains and I ran and made them worse. Hoping to catch or hatch enough Pikachu's to evolve Raichu instead :cc

Ever since the new tracker up date I haven't been able to catch a wild pokemon...I don't understand how it's better than before...I haven't caught anything because they always jump out of the pokeball or jump out and run

It has nothing to do with the tracker, they changed the rate of capture in the update before it. But that is truly disappointing...

Yeah I know xD just find the tracker still as confusing and still similar to having the no steps thing :S Idk where to look and can't tell if I'm getting close or not. Raichu just showed up by chance.
People say it also has them with pictures of stops but that Raichu was at a stop and he was still with the grass :S

But yeah, I haven't actually been able to catch the wild pokemon for ages. Idk why though, I was really excited when that Raichu showed up and wasted 15 pokeballs on it. ;c

I am a mystic team, and where i live there is barely any people on mystic, mainly instinct and valor. Honestly i did not care what team i was on, but i wish there was a Harmony team lol i like all teams

I am actually sad to be a Mystic. It seems a lot are rude to Instinct or Valor. If I could change it, I would become Valor. It upsets be that they take the other teams seriously and for once, I would love to see an Instinct or Valor gym.

There is a way, you have to send in a request to Niantic. But I dont think they satisfy every request...

I just recently found this game on freeppsand it's just wow. Now I spend all days long outside by walking and growing eggs lol . Esp, it's fan to go for a walk with friends and catch them. It's my new obsession

I think the hype has died down a lot by now. I used to hear people shouting Pokemon names and running around with their phones whenever I walked through town. Nothing at all now. It's still fairly active around here though because lures are still being used and gyms are still being taken over but I wonder what it's gonna be like in a few months. Maybe when they introduce trading and live battling it'll kick up again but

It's still fairly active around here though because lures are still being used and gyms are still being taken over but I wonder what it's gonna be like in a few months. Maybe when they introduce trading and live battling it'll kick up again but

I have a hard time playing it now that the footsteps are gone. I usually take it out in the car (As a passenger! Don't worry! I like that new warning they give though) and see if I can catch any by chance. Also, I don't think the pokestop image works, it's always the grass, even when I'm at this one park that is surrounded in Poketsops. :\

Time to clear some things up;
For those of you who don't like the new feature, it's probably because you don't know how to use it. They tried to make it more realistic where the pokemon you see in the grass (aka wild pokemon) are around your area in real time. What does that mean? If you move to the left, and the pokemon disappears on your sightings, then go the other way. If it disappears to your right, then either continue walking forwards or go back the way you came, and it will show up.
IT'S EXACTLY LIKE THE 3 FOOTPRINTS FEATURE. With the 3 footprints feature, you still didn't know which direction the pokemon was in! You had to do the exact same thing as you have to do now, except there's no footprints. But it's still the same distance, and works with your phone in real-time.
So unless you didn't like the 3 footprints feature, there's no reason to dislike this feature. It's pretty much exactly the same, just without the visible footprints.

And for the pokestop thing; that hasn't been introduced to the game yet, so that's why you're not experiencing it in your game. Only a select amount of players were chosen to use the feature as a way to kind of "test it out." But it has not yet been made public to all players.
