Spottedpaw finally looked up. "He commited suicide." He growled, loud enough to break the silence. The clan deserved to know.

Thrushleap;;

Thrushleap glared at Stripestar with her eyes narrowed. She had realized he was making her go out on patrol because he was angry, but to do that to HIS kits was not right. She glanced at Spottedpaw, shocked.

Jaypaw;;

Jaypaw's ears perked up in disbelief. "D-dad's DEAD??" he meowed, grief in his voice.

[scorpiongrasses]

''Stripestar, you had no reason to lie about his death. Me and Spottedpaw saw his body, and there was no sign that he was murdered or died of any sickness. Plus, forcing a queen to put her kits in danger- YOUR kits in danger, is unacceptable.'' Sparrowpaw hissed, still glaring at him.

[Weredog]

Cloudgaze lifted her head a bit to confirm. "It's true. He jumped into a gorge." She meowed just barely loud enough for at least the majority of the cats to hear. Afterwords she stood up to approach Jaypaw and attempt to comfort her son.

Thrushleap;;

Thrushleap turned towards Sparrowpaw, giving her a small smile that said 'thank you'. She turned towards Stripestar again, a defiant look on her face again.

Carlee;;

Carlee leapt into the crowd, weaving between them. "She's right. To do that to your kits is unacceptable," she meowed, planting herself down. She matched Thrushleap's look, glaring at the tom.

Jaypaw;;

Jaypaw's whiskers twitched, frowning. He was unable to shed a tear, but he was of course sad. "What? You're putting unborn kits in danger?" he growled, unsheathing his claws.

Patchedflower;;

"Don't put the kits in danger!" Patchedflower yowled out, her tail lashing back and forth. Her teeth were bared.

Spottedpaw let out a low growl. He hadn't been paying attention to the rest of the meeting out of grief, but something had happened with Thrushleap. He knew that much. "Lying about his death wont help the clan."

Robinpaw looked at her father. ''They're kinda right, I don't want my siblings to die before I get to know them.'' She said quietly.

Mottlefur glared at Stripestar. He was putting his own kits in danger for no reason!

Birch pressed up close against Ice. If a physical fight broke down, then they would need to get out before they got involved.

[Sunsmoke]

Stripestar looks at Sparrowpaw then lets out a sigh. "Enough! Do you want to know why I lied to you all about Leopardstripe. It is because MY mate loves Leopardstripe's mate! She did what Owlfeather did to him. Why I am making her go on patrol is because I want to see her. You want to know what else is why I lie is so those two queens didn't have to face the face and be outcasted by every cat! Most of the clan is Leopardstripe's kin! And it is their fault for his death. Do yall really want to hear this! The hard truth?! Thrushleap thought I was falling for Carlee when I wasn't, SO she went to Cloudgaze and ruin Leopardstripe's life!"

Sparrowpaw had had enough. Without saying anything, she jumped over to the bookshelf and quickly climbed on top of it, then lunged at Stripestar and bit him on his scruff. Her grip was two times harder than it was on Dewdrop, and she wouldn't let go until he took his words back.

Bonekit;;

Bonekit reeled, disbelief in his expression. He stood up, joining Robinpaw. "Yeah! They're our siblings, you can't hurt them like that!" What he heard didn't make him sway, though. "You can see her in camp," he reasoned, becoming quieter.

Thrushleap;;

"Stripestar, I don't WANT to hide from my clanmates. I don't want to be known as a lie," Thrushleap growled, her tail lashing. "I don't care if they know what I've done. They've a right to know. Of course I'm sad about Leopardstripe's passing, but I shall not lie to these cats. I refuse." She took a step forward when Sparrowpaw attacked, but she couldn't.. do anything. If she leapt up after, she'd risk falling and potentially hurting her kits.
