Halfmuzzle lay in a patch of sunlight outside of the elders den, relaxing. The sun was nice on her joints, which ached more and more with her age.

Sandpaw hid in the corner of camp, silently and sullenly staring down at a mossball infront of her. None of the other apprentices generally bothered with her, as they were older.

Nightstrike was hunting a mouse, silently stalking it near a stream by the border. He pounced, snapping it's neck and catching it.

Nettlepool breathed out, his shoulders loosening. He seemed a older in the darkness. 'She's a good cat... She means well...'

Amberflower fell asleep with her two kits nestled beside her.

Aha! Goldenrod! She purred with triumph and later came back with mouse bile under her chin, and goldenrod and marigold in her mouth. She walked over to Nettlepool. "Did I collect the right herbs this time Nettlepool?" She asked hopefully, putting down the three herbs in neat piles near him

He anxiously glanced away before saying, 'Yes for the Marigold and Mouse Bile, but I asked for borage. Maybe next time. While I put these away, please take a little bit of Coltsfoot to Halfmuzzle. Thank you.'

She sighed and nodded. She got two this time, but mixed up goldenrod with borage. She sniffed and grabbed some coltsfoot and walked over to Halfmuzzle. "Nice day isn't it?" She asked, dropping the coltsfoot at her paws. "Nettlepool sent me with coltsfoot. You need to eat it." She mewed, starting to chew it into a pulp for her.

Halfmuzzle lifted her head and peered at Brambleflight. 'Nettlepool? Psh, he worries too much.' She croaked, pushing herself into a sitting position.

She finished chewing the coltsfoot. "And you don't worry enough. Here, eat the coltsfoot and it'll help with your breathing." She mewed

'I'm an old cat now, I don't need to be worried about.' She replied snarkily, but obeyed, eating the coltsfoot and grimacing a little.
