Moonshade returned to camp from confronting Stormy, the kittypet. He had no idea that the foxes had attacked and that Leopardstar had lost a life. His eyes swept across the camp clearing and landed on Bearpaw, who was tucked neatly beside a a shady part in camp. He padded over to him, "Hello, Bearpaw!" he greeted.

The russet furred apprentice opened his one eye lazily as he heard pawsteps padding up to him. It was Moonshade and his sudden approach made Bearpaw flinch in superior before rolling over on his side so he could get a better look at the cat that was talking to him "uh... Hello" The three-legged tom said hesitantly, unsure what he wanted.

Moonshade gave a soft chuckle, Bearpaw seemed hesitant. "Would you like to help take care of the elders? I haven't seen any apprentices near their den in ages." he pointed out. It was more of an order than a question, and he hoped Bearpaw would realize that. He lashed his tail to and fro as he awaited an answer.

Inside Bearpaw wanted to say he was just there and that it probably wasn't nessisary but when he opened his mouth the words just didn't come. So instead he stood himself up and nodded slowly, keeping his gaze locked on his paws "O-ok..." He managed to mumble.
