Astarot looked at X before getting up, and walking over to the hatchling. He then lowered his head to her height, and gently nudged her in the side." it's alright X, You'll get the hang of it, eventually", he said.

Kadaqua smiled, quietly listening.

X frowned for a minute before giggling a little when Astarot nudged her side. She reached a paw up, batting lightly at the bigger dragon's nose.

Astarot smiled a little, when he felt the hatchlings paw touch his nose. Before looking over at kadaqua, and shifted his wings a little so they were more comfortable against his sides.

Kadaqua took a quick glance out the window before looking at the king,"You should probably get her too her new home before it gets any darker." She suggested.

X left her paw against Astarot's nose before she started yawning.

Astarot looked back at kadaqua, when she spoke. Before nodding in understanding, and lifted his head up again.

X looked at them confused before yawning.

Kadaqua smiled,"Did you want me to came back with you? Just to make sure everything is set for the little one?" She asked.

Astarot nodded a little, as he listened to her." I'd be most grateful if you did", he replied.

Kadaqua nodded back with a smile before flapping her wings and carefully picked up the hatchling. If X was just a bit smaller, the healer would have been fine carrying herself, but Kadaqua's delicate wings couldn't take the weight of the hatchling on long flights. Shorts ones were fine, just not the long once. Hovering above the king, Kadaqua slowly and carefully placed X on his back. A spot that wouldn't bother Astarot as he flow and where the hatchling had least chance of falling off. She gave a quick nod to Astarot,"We're good for departure." She told him.

X curled up on Astarot's back.

Astarot tested his wings out, after kadaqua place X on his back. Only having to flap once, to tell him that nothing was disturbing the area in between his wing joints. Before springing into the air, and allowing his wings to feel out the air currents. He then looked over at kadaqua, then at the entrance to the room." Lets go", he replied.

Kadaqua nodded before she started to fly after him. She stayed behind him, just in case X did start to fall off.
