Hey guys, I'm too lazy for my normal setup, but I'd like to introduce a few new members of my growing family!!
I will also be reintroducing a few Makos as well!
My last post for a while bc I'm supposed to be on a hiatus.
First up is my brand new arrival and I love him so much!
I am so so excited to introduce this guy, I worked so hard on him and he's my pride and joy. Kudos go to Prince Virus for doing his scar, teeth, hair and expression edits, and for doing his transfer! He's one part of a "mission" I've been trying and finish, but that's another story. Meet Joshua Washington, or just Josh for short. He's my blue troubled boy, and has been through a lot. He's lost his sisters, which he struggles greatly coming to terms with, and some of his friends along the way. He wants to be a movie director like his father, and his biggest fear is being utterly isolated from everyone else. Josh cares deeply for his friends and loved ones, and blames himself for not being coherent enough to intervene in what made him lose his sisters. He spent a long time alone, and doesn't want to talk about his scar or his teeth and the events that made him get them. Only one mako knows what happened and that's his mate. Most of the time he wears a mask to cover them when out in public, and his daily outfit always includes an old white beanie that used to belong to one of his sisters.
I'd been saving with no lucky for this guy until a close friend bought him for me! He doesn't have a name yet, but he's a crabber who makes his living fishing for crab, and lives in Anchorage. He and Caelus are extremely close, and he is one of the only makos that Caelus can put up with being around for more than five minutes. He's a mako of few words, but his actions speak more than his words ever could. He's all about being giving and loves to help those who are less fortunate out. He's shared his small home with more than a few vagabonds and homeless makos, and would do it for anyone in a heartbeat.
I've already introduced her, but I have given more thought into her! This is Floria Marie and she helps run Forget-Me-Not, Antheia's flower shop. The two aren't related whatsoever, but the small town she and Antheia live in are convinced that the two are somehow. She always keeps her hair braided, and the type of flower she weaves into it varies depending on the day. Her favorite flowers are carnations, and she home grows the carnations that Antheia sells in her shop. She's always cloaked in the smell of the flowers she grows, bringing with her the smell of spring.
I was gifted this boy from Kestral (Thank you so much Kessie!!) and I love him with all my heart! I might give him a new name, I might not. He's selectively mute, which means he chooses whether or not he'd like to speak or not. He's a master at claywork, and crafts beautiful works of art with clay which he then sells later in the village marketplace. He suffers from temporally graded retrograde amnesia after he fell doing his previous job and landed hard on his head. This means that he has lost most of his memories that happened prior to his accident, but he's slowly, very very slowly, regaining his memories.
So I did a complete overhaul on Dawson's personality, and I've made him much like his father Dirk with qualities of Hal. He hides his emotions under a stoic mask, and doesn't reveal his true emotions to you unless he truly trusts you. He takes after Hal with how jumpy he is towards loud noises or sudden movements. Unlike his brother, his flight instinct is higher than his fight. He will run at the first sign of danger or possible injury, leading to his brother calling him a coward. He has a very competitive relationship with his brother Derrick, and the two are always getting into trouble with each other. Fortunately, Dawson hasn't been picked up by the police yet, unlike his brother. Dawson mostly keeps to himself, and isn't very outgoing. Unlike his parents, he's very softspoken and doesn't like to talk over people.
