Falconheart decided to see if the smaller dog was friendly. "Wait here" he said to the she-cat as he slowly climbed down the trunk of the tree. The tiny brown dog noticed him and barked loudly, making him tense. It didn't attack though, so he decided to stay for a little longer to make sure it wasn't hostile.

Tears were still heavily streaming down Sparrowpaw's face. ''We should get his body back to the cabin before it gets eaten by a bunch of foxes.'' She said blankly. She didn't have any emotions right now besides sorrow, and even then she couldn't express it.

Spottedpaw gulped down the lump in his throat and started looking for a way down the gorge. "How will we even get down?" He choked out.

[storm coming.]

''I'm trying to find a way down there.'' Sparrowpaw said. She looked down the gorge for a way to get down, but saw nothing. She sighed and continued looking.

Mottlefur nodded and looked at the dogs. The little brown dog started barking even more, but then realized there was no use. He ran away quickly and left the three alone. Suddenly, Spike started walking away, and looked back at them and barked. ''I think he wants us to follow him.'' She said as she climbed down the tree.

"We should go back to camp and get some warriors." Spottedpaw meowed. "They could get down."

Falconheart followed Spike, wondering where he was leading them. He wondered where they were going. Deciding to stay with Mottlefur, he stood beside her and matched her pace.

Mottlefur smiled when Falconheart stood besides her. For some reason he made her feel... safe. Soon after a bit of walking they reached what looked like a den. A big black dog exited from it and immediately growled at the two cats. Spike barked at her, and she stopped growling. She stepped aside and let them see her and Spike's black and white pups, playing with each other happily. Spike barked happily at them. ''That's adorable.'' Mottlefur muttered.

''You get them. I got here first.'' Sparrowpaw retorted. She knew it was a bad argument but she didn't feel like thinking of an actual argument.

"We'll both get them." Spottedpaw hissed. "Do you really wanna start an argument when our father is lying dead on the bottom of a gorge?"
