Mottlefur followed him up the tree and followed the pawprints. Spike seemed to get the idea that they were trying to avoid whatever made the prints and followed behind trees and bushed.

The tracks kept going for quite a bit, and it took a while of walking to finally reach the source. A faint barking could be heard in the distance. He quickened his pace, wanting to get Spike away. They were almost to the other dog. The scent got stronger and the barking louder as they went from branch to branch.

Spottedpaw looked up from his kittypet pellets and noticed his sister running out of the den. She looked worried, what was that about? He decided to follow her, running after her until he came to the gorge. "Sparrowpaw?" He called. "What are you doing here?"

Sparrowpaw looked back at her brother, her face covered in tears. ''Dad... I don't know what he did! He... just look for yourself.'' She said quietly. She continued running around trying to find a way to get down the gorge.

Mottlefur's ears perked up when she heard the barking. ''I hope these dogs are like Spike.'' She whispered as she following him across the trees.

(tbh... i don't have a plan. oops. we could probably come up with something more interesting to happen on the discussion thread maybe?? cuz i feel like after they drop off spike things could get boring or smthn)

"Same here." He meowed as a smaller, fluffier brown dog came into his field of view. It was much tinier than Spike, and its bark was yappy and high pitched. Spike heard the yapping and seemed interested, his ears perking up at the sound.

Mottlefur watched the brown dog and Spike with interest. Spike slowly approached the tiny dog, and the tiny dog approached him. It was still yapping and seemed like it wanted to scare away Spike, but Spike simply happily wagged his tail.

Spottedpaw had a look of worry on his face as he ran to the edge of the gorge and looked down. Dead. His father was dead. Hid ears went back against his head and tears began to fall as he shook his head. "No! He can't be dead! There's no blood there's no scent if any cat pushing him... He wouldn't do this to himself!" He meowed in disbelief to his sister.

(Pop >…> did you really kill my favorite cat of yours?) Stripestar eyes widen as he had watched the white and black Tom had follow the two she cat to the door the best he could. Hebstop as he stare at the snow and mews. "Starclan I hope you know what you did. "
