Before marrying Lord Killian, Rosalind was the daughter of a lord who controlled a small piece of forested land. Taught not only the arts of music and dance Rosalind also learned to read and write by an old scholar who'd taken a liking to the charming young girl. Growing into a beautiful and capable woman Rosalind was soon married off to a man she did not know. Of course that man was Lord Killian and though she'd only met him on the day of their wedding it didn't take her long to fall in love with her husband. Content in their house on the river Rosalind began her duties as lady of the house and soon proved to be very proficient in running the estate as well as kind in her treatment of their minimal staff. Happy and with a steadily growing family Rosalind was surprised by her husbands news of their sudden good fortune, to be granted land of their choosing was truly a blessing and through her husbands many descriptions of the island he'd chosen Rosalind grew more and more excited to finally see it. After three years and with her four darling children in tow Rosalind accompanied her husband to see their new finished home. Blown away by the beauty of the castle the young woman didn't notice the change in her husband until it was too late, of course he was still the man she loved however he'd become more prideful of their home, often boasting about it at feasts or simply to anyone who would listen. Every time she heard him boast Rosalind felt a twinge of nervousness hoping that they wouldn't upset the king. Unfortunately one summers day Rosalind's fears became reality as the king's army marched to their doorstep. Sheer cliff on one side and an army on the other, everyone who lived in the castle was trapped. In those last few hours the castle was plunged into terror and though she was no stranger to the feelings of fear that were swirling through the halls Rosalind kept her head held high and tried to quell the fears of those around her. In her last moments Rosalind fought to protect her children, hiding them in their room Rosalind barred the door with all manner of furniture and wielding a knife defend her babies until the last possible moment. Her throat slit Rosalind's last memories are of soldiers pouring into the room searching for her children while she gasped for air. As a ghost Rosalind wanders the halls weeping, lamenting her failure to protect those dearest to her heart and the fate that her husband has doomed them to. Wearing her favourite blue gown you wouldn't know how she died until you spotted the faint scar that stretches across her neck. Generally fairly peaceful Rosalind treats visitors with kindness acting like she did in life as the lady of the house, the only things that will move her to violence are going into the children's room, making her children cry, or being the kings descendant. Rosalind will do anything for her children and that includes keeping her husband's vow to kill the last of the kings descendants.

Jackson is an entertaining young boy with the habit of attempting on making people
smile. He enjoys cracking jokes and messing with people just to get them to laugh. It's basically his
life goal, to make people happy. Whenever someone's upset, he tries his best to get them up on their
feet again. He loves meeting new people, though his true personality comes out when he becomes
comfortable around the person. He does have trust issues, though, and he refuses to tell why.

Though he has his moments of excitement, Jack can also be quite the harsh boy. He does not tolerate
anyone who messes with the people that he cares about, and he definitely will defend them when he feels as
if he needs to. Even though he's small, he can pack a punch and has done before. He can get pretty angry
very easily, and often he will become aggravated in the wrong times because of the way people say things. He
is an extremely stubborn boy, and he will go as far as ignoring a person completely to get what he wants. He
is manipulating, and he always has a trick or a plan up his sleeve. Watch out. He has but three weaknesses,
and he refuses to tell anyone, for if anyone found out, he would basically become their servant. They
could control him. He hides his emotions. Well, he hides every
emotion except for his happy and energetic personality, and he often only lets that show. He acts as if
nothing anyone could say would be able to bother him, but when he is alone, he will let his real
feelings show only to himself. If anyone ever got him to open up, it'd be a sign that he loves them and
trusts them enough with his emotions, which is basically trusting the person with everything he is.

Evangeline, better know as 'Ivy' if you ask any of the locals is usually found wandering the palace grounds she had grown up on. She earned the nickname since there isn't a ton of recorded information about her an it was only until some scientists recently found some ancient scriptures that named the girl who had been dead for so long. She's very intelligent despite her lack of current knowledge of technology and other 21st century terminologies and practices. Of she does show herself to you it's most likely when she is roaming the palace gardens and it will only be for a short period of time, it can take only seconds for her to hate you so make sure get a good impression. There are the occasional times when she'll grow fond of a human and befriend them and in that case she'll be very loyal to you and it breaks her stone cold heart if they leave her. Over the years 'Ivy' has grown to entertain herself by attempting to take care of the gardens but each day she's stuck between hell and heaven she can feel her humanity draining and her becoming slightly more sadistic. Be warned this girl has a dark side and knows the secrets of this castle, if somebody winds up dead you might want to turn an eye to her.
