"Because he is practically an elder and she is just barely a warrior!" Pikeflower exclaimed. "She should still be an apprentice. Maybe then we wouldn't have to deal with the whole mates thing yet." The tabby lashed his tail a couple of times.

As his stomach grumbled Sagewhisker remember how no one had eaten in days, carefully he left the twolegplace nest and began padding into the forest. He had been walking for awhile when he heard a rustling in a bush, Sagewhisker crouched down and stalked the prey. As he launched himself onto it he realized it was a rabbit, though it was small it would feed atleast 2 cats bellies. His mind drifted away until he found himself still in the forest with the the rabbit's scruff still in his mouth, carefully he walked back into the twolegplace place and dropped the rabbit at his paws looking around proudly.
