Is Minkcloud fit to be a mentor though? He has no claws and has lost a limb (I believe), so I assume that his skillset would be tuned to fighting with no claws and with one lost limb. Feel free to debate this with me, this is just my first uneducated opinion.
Also, I don't think that Shadow is accepted until Froggie says that it is okay.

yeah i would say not to give minkcloud an apprentice either but since we might lack capable warriors for mentoring i was willing to let him have a go at it and probably fail miserably
