Swiftstar raised her chin proudly as she stood before her Clan. They had suffered greatly the past few moons but her clanmates had proven themselves to be stronger than ever, and with a new apprentice meant more experienced warriors in the near future. "Boulderkit, you have reached the age of six moons and it is time for you to become an apprentice." She looked over at Owlwing. He might be a younger warrior, but he was well-respected and motivated. "Owlwing, it is time for you to take on an apprentice, you will mentor Boulderpaw.'"

Owlwing listened silently to Swiftstar as she recited the words of the apprentice ceremony, but when Swiftstar mentioned his name his ears pricked in alert and he looked up to her with his utmost respect. "Thank you, that would be an honor," he meowed and dipped his head politely before joining his new apprentice. "Boulderpaw! Boulderpaw!" He cheered.

Owlwing looked over at Swiftstar to see her dismissing the ceremony. He turned toward Boulderpaw. "What should we do? How about taking care of the elders?" He suggested. "Nah, I'm just kidding you... let's hit the forest. I'll give you a tour of our territory."

Silverkit rolled her eyes as Swiftstar appointed Owlwing as Boulderpaw's mentor. She padded over to the dirt place tunnel and sneaked out, wanting to meet Blue again. She ventured deeper into the forest in search of the loner.
