Birch listened to his parents. If it was just a group of cats, why couldn't they go to them? He stood up and started to walk towards where he assumed the group of cats was.

"Birch...where are you going ?"she questioned

Waterbone frowned. "Mom, please, I can choose who I'm mates with!" She protested.

Mistyclaw glared at her daughter, then walked away. Whatever. Waterbone could do what she wanted, but sooner or later, she would have to tell her father, and that wasn't going to be pretty.

Nightsong stood up, smiling. "Almost. Tuck your hind legs in under you and keep your rump down." The dark cat gently corrected Birchpaw's position. "Now stalk up on this twig." Nightsong signaled to a small twig not far from Birchpaw.

Falcondusk looks at Waterbone and mews. "I am dead. Hope Starclan can help some way." He flicks his tail as he looked at the ground. "Come on lets go hunt."

Waterbone nodded and headed out of the door again.

Birchpaw stalked up to the twig best as she could. "Like this?"

"Really?" Willow looked over to his brother who was running away. He must be going to the group... Maybe if he went he could find out who it was? That would be good, seeing as his parents didn't want to say. He followed his brother casually.

"Bonekit, Emberstorm, Flamekit, Dawnheart and Foxflight were left. Some are probably dead." Dewdrop said in a grim tone.

Falcondusk walks out of the two legs den. He looks at his old home then turn his back to it. He went to the space he hasn't been to far. His tail flicks around as he lets out a sigh. Ferretpaw looks at the two as he flicks his tail.

Birch remembered what his father called he group of cats, Thornclan. There weren't any thorns around, so he unsheathed his claws and pointed at them. They were kind of like thorns, right?
