Neyla is an expert witch; she is highly advanced in healing magic.
She has committed a majority of her life to learning these spells,
and even still she doesn't fail to continue to brush up on her skills.
She loves to learn and she loves to teach, even if it doesn't relate
to magic.

Neyla, although she has no blood relation to her at all, acts as a
motherly figure to Krystal. She was assigned to be one of Krystal's
many caretakers by the king and queen due to Neyla's immense
knowledge about the world. However, it never came across their
minds that Neyla was also well versed in magic, as they believe
their city wide ban against the learning of spells would have
prevented her from learning it. She is the sole reason why Krystal
ended up learning how to summon, use, and control magic.

Neyla can become easily angered.
It's not something she likes, but
she deals with it as best as
she can. Do note that, if she is
angered like this, it's important
to avoid her at all costs, even if
your close to her. She's known to
lash out at others, even accidentally
when she's upset.

Even though Neyla can easily
extend her life, she's still very
impatient. She hates waiting and
will try her best to get what she
wants right then and there...
Unless playing the waiting game
has its rewards, of course.

Neyla can be hard to be pushed
to do something. If she doesn't want
to do it, she won't do it at all.
No is no for her; she can't be

Made from polish sapphire and lots of love; these two gems are enchanted with energy that can help Neyla go back in time. Because her own body doesn't have magic that can allow her to time shift, she depends on these two crystals to give her the power to do so.

Hand woven from giant spiders' silk and happily dyed a pleasant pink colored to suit her tastes. She wears her cape wherever she goes, using it as some sort of security blanket. It is believed that her mother initially created it for Neyla to wear once she was fully grown. Neyla can be spotted rolling the pearls around with her fingers when she's nervous and needs something to calm her down.

A hand-me-down from her own mother; the staff allows Neyla to focus her magic, increasing its power. The pink crystal that floats in the middle of the staff radiates a sweet peach scent constantly. When she passes by any living thing or creature, the sudden scent seems to perk them right up.

A gift from Krystal's parents for her birthday. Neyla tried to give back the present since she was only doing her job of protecting and caring for Krystal. Since the royal couple wouldn't take it back, she now wears it proudly where ever she goes.

Neyla has many connections with other souls. She prides herself on tending to these connections. To her, she believes that each relationship is important; she trusts in the idea of the red string of fate as she has a tendency to also think that fate is predetermined for each person.

Sabine and Neyla go way back;
they grew up with each other. They were
the closest friends imaginable, and they've
made promises to never leave one another
for any reason. However, the two ended
up going their separate paths once they both
discovered the type of magic they excelled in
and were passionate about. Neyla doesn't agree
with how Sabine goes about her career; she hoped
that Sabine didn't have learned all of the
offensive, powerful spells she knows today.
Neyla is passive while Sabine is aggressive when it
comes to their magic.

Neyla is Krystal's caretaker; she was hired and
assigned by Krystal's parents to teach the young
princess about the world. However, Neyla
furthered her lessons by teaching the princess
about topics regarding the magical world.
Because of Neyla's passion for magic, Krystal
soon found herself attached to the idea of learning
it as well. Even though the learning and use of magic
and spells is forbidden in Krystal's parents' kingdom,
the two often sneaked books out from the library
under the disguise of education type books, primarily
English textbooks and literature. Neyla was astonished
by how quickly Krystal learned a majority of the basic
spells she taught her; she didn't expect a princess to
be able to have the soul of a sorceress, let alone the
princess of a kingdom that banned the use of magic
out of fear.

Even today, Neyla and Krystal and close friends. Krystal
continues to look up at Neyla, still viewing her as a
motherly figure. Neyla hopes to be able to take Krystal,
and perhaps even her romantic interest, on a journey in
hopes of teaching her more about the world.

Neyla's proficiency in magic allows her to have unusually high mana levels, which is highly useful as she needs to spend high levels of mana to perform complex spells.

Spells that can protect Neyla and her allies.
❖Shield
Neyla creates a strong force field that can
stand both magical and physical attacks.
❖Quicken
Neyla can increase one's speed, allowing
them to run away to retreat.
❖Regeneration
One of Neyla's many healing spells;
she often uses this in battle to help
her allies regenerate quicker, allowing
them to fight for longer periods of time.
❖Substitution
Neyla can create a substitute that, when
attacked, will vanish. She uses this to distract
foes, giving her and her allies more time to
flee or hide. She can only create one
substitution at a time, so she must quickly
think of who to create a substitute if their
lives depended on it. These substitutes can
only perform the basic of actions, like
standing, sitting, and speaking. They have
no ability to fight or move.

Spells that Neyla can use to harm others in times
of dire need. However, Neyla stays away from
spells that can physically damage someone else.
These spells may stun or capture a foe, but they
will never harm someone to the point of fatally
wounding them.

Neyla emits a bright flash either from her
staff or from her hand. While this won't
physically harm a foe, it will certainly
stun them for quite some time.
❖Overgrow
Neyla can cause vines, grass, and roots
to grow instantly, allowing them to trap
whoever might be chasing her.
❖Sleep powder
Neyla can emit a sleep inducing
powder from her staff or hands.
The effects of this powder only
work when inhaled and only
last for a short while.
