Have you ever heard of mythical beasts, like those who shift into wolves on a full moon or drain the blood of humans as their food source? Of course you have. These tales are everywhere. But that's what they are, correct? Just silly tales used to frighten children away from the dark and the unknown, right?
Incorrect. Although it may seem very, very unlikely, these "beasts" do exist, but after being tortured while known to humans they did go into hiding, and the truth to the stories told slowly started to fade.
Despite the fact that creatures such as vampires are believed by most to be purely fiction, there are people who know of the existence of them. Most who are raised from birth to hunt and kill monsters who are a danger to human life. These people are known as hunters.

There's an academy, known as Cross Academy, where vampires and humans live in close quarters, though it is unknown to most of the human students that they are living among creatures that are not so human. While the humans and vampires do go to the same school, they are separated as to avoid any unfortunate occurrences between the two species. The class is spit into two classes. A day class and a night class. As can be assumed, the students in the day class attend school in the day, and are human, and those who are a part of the night class attend school in the night, and are vampires. There is an amount of conflict with this system, as the day class students do become fascinated with the mysterious night class. There are hunters among the day class who spend their nights patrolling the academy in order to assure that there are no disturbances.

Sorry that the plot is somewhat choppy. I've never been very good at making plots that flow well c:

I did, in fact, base this off of the anime and manga "Vampire Knight", even going as far as using the same school name because I have very little imagination at the moment. Anyways, for those of you who enjoy anime and manga I recommend this (if you haven't seen/read it).

This academy consists of three buildings. A dorm for the day class students (Humans/hunters), a dorm for the night class students (vampires), and the school itself. the placement of the buildings is in a v pattern almost. The point being the school, and the ends of the lines are the schools. (reference)

Hunters each have one anti-vampire weapon, which is a weapon that will kill a vampire if it damaged their heart or brain.
The humans all have a fascination of sorts with the vampires, jut because by nature vampires are very graceful and mysterious.
I will have one pure-blood vampire and the rest will be nobles and such. Purebloods have multiple powers including that of controlling non-pureblood vampires. All other night class students will have powers based on one thing. Fire, ice, blood, etc.
There will be three hunters among the day class available.
I'm thinking that there will be six characters available for each class.
