⇞ ⇟ Jaggedclaw looked up at Willowheart. "Of course! Go ahead, i don't mind!" He mewed kindly to her with a smile. He took a few more bites of the mouse that he had, eating it slowly, savoring it. He stayed mainly quiet while eating, he wasn't very good at starting conversations but he always tried to be nice to the other cats when he talked to him. Even if he would be sad one day he would try his best not to show it and let it affect the cats around him that he cared about, so he decided to try to smile, even if he had to fake one. ⇞ ⇟

Greynose couldn't help but let out a quiet snort of laughter at what Swiftfire said and with that he quickly nudged his apprentice forward with an amused grin "You heard her, better get going"then just seconds after that he felt Swiftfire nudge him forward which made him begin to move forward, first at a slow pace as everyone started moving then picking up to a fast trot to stay between everyone.

Darkpaw's ear twitched as she heard Mudkit say something else to himself that she just barley heard, what he said made a small grin appear on her face. Mudkit was a sweet kitten. She then froze slightly at her mentor's proposal, she knew that a race meant bad news for her. It wasn't like she was bad at running or using her three legs, she was actually quite used to that. But she was no where close to being as fast as normal cats in order to keep her balance, she'd probably end up tripping or trailing really far behind and both would be really embarrassing. Although Darkpaw nodded slightly, not wanting to be rude and began slowly moving forward but picking up pace with every stride til she got to the point where she couldn't go any faster or she would loose her balance and fall. The three cats she was heading with quickly started gaining distance in front of her although she noticed Swiftfire begin to trail back and most definitely to make her feel like she was doing good in this race which she didn't but for a second. Feeling her face heat up a bit in embarrassment she started slowly picking up the pace and scanning the area in front of her to make sure she wouldn't trip.

Lightgaze - Male - Open

Lightgaze padded back through the forest, grateful for the comforting shade the thick foliage provided. While his pelt was light in both color and form, he still got hot from time to time. In his jaws he carried two voles, a lucky catch for a poor hunter like himself. Sometimes he felt as if he would have been better off growing into the role of Medicine Cat rather than warrior, what with his lack of hunting skills and reluctance to use his claws. Shrugging the thoughts off the tom padded into camp, dropping the voles off at the fresh kill pile and settling down a few feet away to clean his pelt after his expedition.

Petalnose - Female - Open

Petalnose sighed as she looked around the camp. She was laying in a particular sunny spot where the grass had worn away to reveal packed dirt that soaked up the sun nicely. Her light pelt shimmered in the sun, and she closed her eyes for a moment to enjoy the sensation of warmth. Opening her eyes again she saw her brother pad into camp, and quickly let her eyes slide away from him and sweep over the camp.

Mistypaw walked up to petalnose and says to her" Hi my name is mistypaw. What is yours? You are new aren't you?"

Petalnose looked up in surprise at the newcomer. Seeing it was Mistypaw, she relaxed somewhat.
"Mistypaw, I've lived in this clan my whole life. I'm older than you," She stated, obviously confused. There haven't been any 'new' cats in the clan for a while anyway, so Mistypaw couldn't have confused the she-cat with anyone. Petalnose just stared at the apprentice, head tilted slightly to the side.

"Come back, mouse-brain," Swiftfire hissed beside Graynose's ear. She glanced ahead to Graynose's apprentice, shooting far ahead of the others, and sighed inwardly. Wolfpaw meant well, but sometimes forgot to think ahead. She forced herself to take her long stride more slowly, so her low speed was less obvious to the injured she-cat.

Wolfpaw was proud of her gain on the others, but turned around to see where they were and lost her balance, her paws tangling up in each other as she tumbled. She gave a half-yowl-half-mrrow as she rolled, laughing at her own blunder, and scrambled to her paws, now behind Swiftfire. She glanced sheepishly at the other apprentice, but remembering her disadvatange, narrowed her eyes with resolution. Her stride slowed immensely as she pulled her right forepaw up to her chest and ran on at Darkpaw's side.

WildPaw sighed. "Yeah the clan's kind of in a rough spot so if you don't join some cats might get angry. Not as if they wouldn't get angry if we weren't it's just that most cats are more angry and stressed out. Most of the cat's are no fun right now..." She said sadly. "Clan life is great though! If you joined i'm sure you wouldn't regret it!" She said as her tail wagged slightly like a dog's. She tended to do that sometimes when excited. If this cat joined she could have another cat to talk to and not hear about the same old stories like she heard about when she talked to some of the elders back when she was a kit. It was saddening to know that a lot of the cats had died, but she was still happy to be alive. She still had plenty of other cats including her brother, OwlEyes and her mentor. She wondered if her parents were alive though. Her brother always seemed to get nervous when she mentioned them. It was as if he was hiding they were alive or something! If they were she just hoped they survived like the rest of the clan did.

OwlEyes sighed. She slipped past the group of chaotic cats who still surrounded the kittypet. He might as well do something productive for his clan. Hunting was a great way to be productive and clear your mind. So that's what he decided to do. He scented the air as he tried to find the scent of anything edible. Well not just anything, a lot of the forest was edible, but he was looking for prey. He noticed a scent stick out from the rest of them. It smelt like a vole. He got into a crouch and slowly walked towards the smell until the vole came into view. He tried to get closer to be more precise. Precision was perfection, if you had precision you could kill even the biggest monster with a couple of well thought out blows. He then jumped onto it and landed his paws on top of it. He quickly severed its spinal cord with his teeth and it went still. Now he had caught more prey for the camp. He wondered if the kittypet problem was done yet. He didn't care, he decided he would rather keep hunting.

"Okay, what do I have to do to join?" she asked. "And a kitty pet would be useful since they know there way around the twoleg place. If you need to do something near or by the twoleg place, I'd be useful" Sherbet said.

Graynose let out a small snort As he slowed his pace to match Swiftfire's. Then from there he could see how far ahead his apprentice was from the rest of them, he shook his head and was about to call her back when he saw her trip over her own paws and tumble to the ground. Since Swiftfire and Darkpaw seemed to keep going so Graynose slowered his pace to reach his apprentice. Although right as he did Wolfpaw hopped back up onto her paws and met paces with Darkpaw so he just shrugged it off and ran behind the other three cats



Darkpaw watched helplessly as her fellow apprentice tumbled on the ground as they passed, she wanted to stop and help but it seemed that Swiftfire wanted to continue running so that's what she did. Then only a few seconds later she was greeted by Wolfpaw running up beside her, her fur ruffled and covered with dirt. She wanted to say something like asking if she was ok but out of social awkwardness she stayed quiet
