Ice traveled through the house, looking in all the rooms she could find. She knew there was something wrong with her that she couldn't do, like she couldn't hear, but she didn't know what. Maybe something happened relating to that? What if she got lost?

Cloudgaze gave a small smile. "I know how that feels." She said, "He frustrated me so much. Even when I did still love him. He still frustrates me from time to time but not as much since I try to avoid him." She suddenly realized that she was talking about Thrushleap's mate. "I'm sorry." She quickly added with the fear that she might have upset her by talking that way about Stripestar.

Thrushleap chuckled. "It's okay," she assured her. Suddenly, something came to mind. "When we were fleeing the camp, did you hear any mewls from kits you weren't carrying? Bonekit.. we think Bonekit died, and I wanted to know if.."
