"He doesn't get to choose," Bluepaw argued.

"Look, they won't attack you," Adderstrike sighed.

Stripestar looks at her as he jumps down. He flicks his tail as he looks at him. "Hey come here. Thrushleap talk to me. Just talk to me. Because I picked you out of every cat in this clan. I don't want to lose you Thrushleap." Falcondusk looks at her. He nudge her as he press his nose against her forehead. "How about this. I will stay as long as I am your mentor. But after that I have to leave. Your father really doesn't like me nor does any of the other cats in the clan."

Waterpaw walked outside to find her sister, and what she saw horrified her. "Hey!" She hissed at Falcondusk. "I might have thought you were cute when I first became an apprentice, but I do not like the way you're acting around my sister!" She pushed Falcondusk away from Bluepaw.

"Go away. Just watch the kits. And don't let them outside this time," Thrushleap growled, still plodding away. She didn't care where she was going, Carlee seemed to give them free rein of the house.

Adderstrike;;

Adderstrike licked the small she-cat's nose before turning back around.

Bluepaw;;

"You WON'T go," Bluepaw meowed firmly, tears gathering in her eyes. Though before he could see them, she blinked them back in. "Waterpaw, stop."

"No! He's way older than you! He's even a little older than dad!" Waterpaw hissed. "You don't love him. You barely know him well!"

Laurel glanced at Mud as she slowly groomed one of her front legs. "Go to sleep then." She suggested, "Everyone is saying we'll leave tomorrow so you won't be bored in the morning."

Bluepaw nudged her away with her nose. "It's not your choice, Waterpaw. None of you." She didn't know if she liked her mentor the way he liked her or not, but she knew one thing for sure~ it was not her sibling's choice OR her father's choice.
