Pine Silk followed the scent to a cave. "Hello? Little pup? I brought squirrel meat! I can smell your hunger. It's okay. You can come out."

I jumped back in surprise, I wasn't expecting a wolf to appear. I raise my tail, then pulled back my lips, letting out a growl. "I do NOT need your help!" I snapped, "my father is out hunting right now."

"Okay little one. It's okay. I'll leave. And I'll leave this meat, too." Silk Pine padded back into The Pack Cave. She excitedly told Ario everything.

Silk Pine would go to the pup again later.

Ario sighed, "Okay so what do you plan to do about her?"

Silk Pine looked at him. "We should adopt her! She obviously has no pack."

Ario groaned a bit, "There should be no 'we' in that statement. I would rather give up my position as alpha then adopt a pup. Anyone who knows me should know how much I cannot stand them. Maybe we can find someone in the pack who can help her."
