What were your thoughts on the new girl meets world episodes? The ones that have been officially released.

I spoiled myself by reading the post above because I love/hate spoiling myself but anyways just going to comment on the first part; I thought it was okay, it's definitely something that would happen In a book or tv show. I mean I know it is a tv show (obviously) but I like shows that are somewhat realistic. The only thing that made me really enjoy the episode was the references and side marks that were pretty funny (like with Yogi.) I still like bmw more though, it's going to take some effort to change that. I feel like season 3 is a little too overdramatic, it'd be nice to see more emotion in people and the darker side of Riley that Micheal hints at sometimes. I also feel like there changing Maya a lot and the remarks people give her like some of you guys said earlier are unnecessary, I mean Maya doesn't have a terrible life people are letting on to believe and she wasn't that bad before either. Also if in Girl Meets True Maya, Maya had friends like that but then became friends with Riley and Riley changed her for the better wouldn't that mean that the friends she had before was when she was 7? Cause in GM Bay Window they met when they were 7. I don't know, GM True Maya was kind of confusing cause they were adding in so much detail, making her feel older than a 14 year old which is how old she is supposed to be.

I agree about Riley's character...and everything else you guys said...they really have been making some weird logic with their character development. It was such a weird decision to have this whole Maya turn into Riley business..like why can't Maya can be a good person without automatically becoming Riley? Riley isnt the only good person in the world
Anyway, i really want more Zay too...i think he is an underused and underrated character!

Even though development is weird and not making sense sometimes...I actually kinda liked GM ski Lodge part 2....especially the Joshaya moments. Again, even if it didn't make sense/happened out of nowhere, it was still so cute (I really wanted them to kiss, and at some moments I thought they were going to hehe)

I'm actually really excited for this club, I've never actually gotten to talk about GMW with others before. :3

Soo, what I really wanna talk about is the Girl Meets Ski Lodge episodes. Here's what I think. Highlight to read.

I actually really liked the Girl Meets Ski Lodge episodes, and I was very satisfied. To be completely honest, I've always loved Rucas and Joshaya so Rucas becoming gf/bf again and Joshaya being a possible thing for the future, my little fangirl heart was screaming with joy. xD I never really shipped Lucaya despite the massive amount of GMW fans that ship it. And in the Ski Lodge episodes Joshaya was adorable, and it was super cute and funny when Lucas got jealous of Evan because he still liked Riley. I really hope Rucas and Joshaya are endgame but it IS possible Lucaya will turn out to be that way. But like they said, I think Maya and Lucas have more of a brother/sister type bond.

The only thing I didn't like was how apparently Maya DOESN'T like Lucas like that. I mean... That whole thing was very confusing for me, lol. I'm happy Rucas and Joshaya are a thing, but... I just found that whole thing confusing. o3o

Also, why is the Smarkle ship so underrated? They're adorable! Riley and Maya both obviously only like Farkle as a friend/brother figure, and Farkle feels the same way, so I don't get why so many people ship Riarkle or Faya. Smarkle is the best Farkle ship, imo. Seriously, they're perfect for each other.

Okay, so I would just like to say my opinion on the Ski Lodge episodes.

spoiler: So, I was not a fan of these episodes. Maybe it's because I am not a Rucas fan, but I didn't like them nearly as much as the episodes in season two. Actually all of season 3 as a whole has been kind of a disappointment.

The first part seemed like a lot of filler, which I didn't really like. And I have a lot of things to say about part 2:

1. First of all, I did not like new boy. Though staying up all night with a stranger is pretty characteristic of Riley, and it corresponded with a BMW episode, it all seemed really forced.
2. Second of all, I found it strange how Lucas got all protective over Riley, then Zay did the exact same thing (when they saw the new boy). It seemed strange and kind of making fun of Rucas' relationship.
3. Third, I did not like the way they cleared up the triangle. The way Josh just told Maya she didn't have feelings for Lucas and she just accepted it felt really strange. Plus, I kind of forgot Josh was really a character since he hasn't been in it all that much (and I have never shipped Joshaya), which makes this episode seem even more forced.
4. Forth, I did not want one of the ships to become canon on the ski trip. After the movie scenes and the "the triangle needs to end now" I expected them to just go back to being friends.
5. Fifth, I found it odd that Lucas never said "I love you" to Riley like Maya told him to.
6. I really think that Riley and Lucas will break up. The fact that Maya never really told herself her feelings weren't real, and the fact that Lucas never admitted his love for Riley makes me think (and hope) that the triangle will come back. Hopefully this time Farkle will get his spotlight too (he's my favorite character after Maya). I especially hope this because I like way Lucaya more than Rucas (even though I would still be disappointed if anything but Rilaya was endgame).
7. The only good parts of this episode were, in my opinion, the Smarkle parts, the Corpanga parts, and Rilaya at the very end with the thunder and lightning (I know, I know I'm turning everything they do into Rilaya, but that's just my style). Oh, and also Zay, because he's always the best part xD

Sorry for ranting so much. And sorry if I sound mean or anything. I just have very strong opinions on GMW and the ships.

Here's what I think about what you said:

Spoiler: I didn't really like Evan either. He was just kind of... annoying. I don't know why. xD

Of course Lucas is gonna get all protective over Riley, he loves her. Is he just supposed to stand there and not be jealous? And then Zay wasn't making fun of them, he was just being Zay, lol.

I also found the whole "Maya doesn't really have feelings for Lucas" thing odd, but the shippy Joshaya moments drowned out my confusion. xD

Well, it's pretty obvious SOMEONE in that triangle had feelings for each other, so I'm not surprised they just decided who would date who and got over it.

You don't have to say you love someone to let them know you love them. Lucas never said that to Maya either. And I get why Lucas would feel nervous saying that to Riley, because when you say you LOVE someone, that's a pretty strong word.

It's possible. I REALLY want Rucas and Joshaya to be endgame, but after hearing about the last episode of S3 and Josh's actor's tweets about saying goodbye makes me think maybe Josh will be leaving the show, and I really hope not because Joshaya is my second favorite pairing in the show. And Rucas might break up but I really hope they don't. I think Riley truly does love Lucas and he truly loves her though. Lucas never got jealous of Maya with Josh but he was obviously jealous of Evan when Riley was talking to him. As for Rilaya... I think they should just stay friends. They've always been best friends and I don't think they would ever be anything more. They love each other, but like sisters, and I think it's going to stay that way. Besides, I'm sure the writers wouldn't want to have to deal with ANOTHER love triangle. xD

Those parts were all great, but my favorite parts were when Rucas got together, those two Joshaya talks (especially when he was letting her hold his hand, omg that was adorable), and all the things you just said.

Yeah I'm not going to transparent it. I agree that the Josh and Maya moments were cute but I feel like they could've expressed Lucas and Riley a better way. Also the writers built so much (too much) story and progression to the triangle and then it felt like they just kind of left the solution in one episode. I mean I like it where the beginning, problem, result are all evenly leveled out but I felt like they put too much time on the beginning and problem that the result didn't hit as close as you thought it would. Also I didn't feel like Zay was making fun of Lucas or being jealous, he just cares really deep about Lucas and doesn't want him to get hurt from a stranger and to keep him safe. I like that season 3 added more Smackle and Zay though. It kind of sucks that girl meets world won't be renewed for season 4. And Evan was just their, I knew something like that would happen and I knew it would cause drama but shortly be resolved and how he is the son of Lauren, it didn't take an Einstein. I also believe that saying love part wasn't as important since it is a big word and they just started dating, Riley wouldn't want that nor would she say that to Lucas yet so for me it wasn't that big of a deal.

I'm sad that girl meets world is ending.that was the only show I watched on Disney channel.but your right.Riley and Lucas that wasn't a big deal.I kinda figured that they would end together.but I also figured that Maya still liked Josh.so I know they might end togather.

I was hoping girl meets world world go longer like boy meets world.when they went to college.I was hoping that would happen to girl meets world.but they not going to do another season

Oh my god.I can't believe girl meets world is ending.
