Pandora
She slowly inched out from behind Able. She tilted her head curiously and her tiny frame shrunken down. "I.. I'm gonna go find dad." She squeaked and scampered off to find Damon.

Altair
He chuckled and looked at the sky.

Able sighed heavily Pandora skittered off, his pupils widening to their normal size once she was gone and he saw no need to be on the defensive. He removed his attention from Astrid and then turned to walk off. "Just so you know, I have a sort of respect for everyone here, but the moment you lose that respect, you're as good as dead." he told her with an eerily calm tone. "Don't make me take that road. It's not one I'm fond of." he added, walking off towards the water.

Damon stood a few feet out from the shore, his hands stuffed in the pockets of his shorts as he stared out over the surface of the water.

Elaine's smile grew bigger and brighter as she looked at him, but eventually drew her gaze away in order not to stare, looking up at the clouds. "So I've been thinking," she suddenly said, "I spend so much time away from the manor, that I figured I'd build my own little place near the forest. Red said it was a good idea, but I wanted to check with you first.." she continued. "It was your home far before mine, after all."

He nodded. "Sure, go ahead." He said softly.

Pandora
She walked up into Damon. "Hi Daddy." She chirped happily.

Damon jumped a little, restraining the urge to shriek before looking back at his daughter. "Hey sweethe--WOAH WHAT" he began, jumping to a screech in the middle of his sentence as he noticed the gash on her shoulder. He growled, holding her tightly and glancing around with narrowed eyes. "Who did this? I'll kill them."

Elaine's eyes lit up and she chuckled happily. "Make sure you visit often, then." she told him, smiling brightly.

"Umm ok? Bye, I think?" I turn around confused and a little hurt
"Sheesh I was just trying to be friendly" I walk off with my head down and just climb a tree, staying away from everyone because they aren't safe.

He laughed. "I promise. However with you in my forest, I shall have no reason to leave."

Pandora
She squealed. "Daddy I'm okay, I tripped. Able broke my fall." She said softly.

I feel like Astrid would get along with DeathClaw. Lol)

Able stopped in his tracks and sighed heavily, turning and skittering back towards Astrid, his head hung. "I really need to learn how not to be a douche.." he thought to himself critically before stopping at the base of the tree the girl hid in. He looked up at her, frowning. "Look, I'm sorry" he began. "I'm just defensive over people because of how many I've lost, so I come off as mean and threatening." he explained. "You really didn't do anything wrong.. You can come down if you want.." he finished, looking to the side. He felt pretty bad.

Damon growled lowly, but went silent as Pandora explained and pulled away to look at her. "Oh. He did?" he finally asked. "Thank goodness. If he wasn't there you probably would have gotten a bit more of a gash than that." he added, frowning at the thought.

Elaine sighed happily and nodded in agreement. "Indeed." she said, looking back at him. "..I have a question." She suddenly said.

She nodded and looked at her shoulder. "It hurts a bit, but I'll be fine."

Altair
He looked down at her. "Hmm?".

Damon sighed and nodded. "Alright. Um.." he mumbled. "I could heal it if you want." he finally said. "..Sort of been practicing how to do that. Don't tell any of the others."

Elaine looked away, speaking quietly. "What exactly do you see in me..? I'm not all that special in comparison to the others. Pretty plain, in fact."
