I'm obsessed with Hamilton sorry
She was named Margarita because she was born near a pearl.
Her parents took it as a sign to name her after it,
and so they did.
Margarita dislikes the fact that she was named after a dumb pearl,
but she refuses to be called anything other than her name
and Peggy (by close friend or family)
Her friend wonder how Margarita was named after a pearl,
due to her being the opposite of a pearl besides the saltiness,
in which she bittery replies,
"If ya don't wanna call Margarita,
call me either Peggy, which still means pearl, or nothin'."

So, I was in my shop one day, finishing up with a mullet when this cup (cub-pup/puppie) walked in. I reached down to pet her and she asked if there was anyway she could help and earn some spare change. I pointed her to my broom and she immediately got right to work. After that, she was a regular in my shop and a great help. I decided to name her Karie, after what hair is made of. A name she loved and was proud of. Now that's the part I really don't get. From that day forth, she would greet every customer with "Hi, I'm Karie, as in keratin. Now, what's your name so I can get you checked in," and "Can I interest you in a magazine or some coffee?"
