I really want a roleplaying buddy, but I just can't seem to find someone that
I want to RP with :( There are some requirements that I have that people
seem to have a hard time filling, so I guess I should start with them.

Sam sat on the side of the sparkling stream, twirling her finger in the icy
water. It wouldn't be long before she would have to run again, she knew this,
yet she didn't want to accept it. Her life had been wonderful, the perfect
picture. Everyone's dream. That was, until she was discovered. She and her
family.
Sam looked back over her shoulder at Callibre. The large dapple grey was
munching contentedly on some fresh grass. "Hey Cal," Sam said lightly,
"do you want some oats?" The horse nickered happily, raising his large head
and looking at her with sparkling eyes. Sam stood slowly, walking gracefully
over by her horse and untying a bag of oats from the side of his saddle.
She put her slim hand into the bag, pulling out the crunchy golden delicacies.
Well, at least delicacies for Callibre. She offered him the food, and the big
horse nuzzled his nose down into Sam's hand. She let a slight smile touch her
lips as she felt his soft fur brushing against her skin. When finally, the oats
were gone, Sam shook the remaining bits from her hand.
"Come on, we have to get moving," Sam shook her head. She had been so long
away from the security of humans that she was talking to her horse. The cat-like
girl mounted her big stallion in one fluid movement. She spurred him lightly in the
barrel, and Callibre immediately sped off into the forest. This was pure glee, the
flying sensation atop the smooth-gated horse was so much more than she could
have wished. Even in these desperate times, Sam found glee.

Jakob ran his fingers over the veins of the dripping maple leaf as he walked by.
The large tree was standing sentinel over a small woodland cabin that Jakob
lived within. He sighed a deep breath when Zanna called him from the inside.
She was his best and only friend, and yet the small girl could be the one person
that annoyed Jakob most of all.
He stood up and walked around the other side of the house, a shadow was stretching
over this small area and it chilled the already frozen area. Zanna was inside their small
home, bouncing up and down on a thickly cushioned bed in her anxiety. "What is it,
Zanna?" Jakob asked calmly, but when he saw what she was focusing on, his skin grew
pale. A thin black cloud erupted from his form like a deadly aura. Even with Zanna's
attention diverted, she slunk away fearfully.
The television was broadcasting pictures of the two of them. A slight, pale Japanese girl
and a blonde, stern-faced boy. There was a wanted sign below them, just like those
old western shows usually passed as realistic. "I didn't mean to, Jakob," when he saw a
tear fall from his friend's violet eye.
His mind flicked back to what had happened, the horrible scene that Zanna had displayed.
They were special, him and Zanna. They needed to watch out for each other, and that was
exactly what Jakob did. He would stand up for Zanna no matter what happened, no matter
what she did.
