Spring break. The one time of the school year that always brought a little joy to Kuninaga. The warm weather, the tranquility of everything around and not to mention to chance to sleep in late. This was exactly what the vampire had done, at first till the afternoon suns rays beaming through his window woke him. He may not of been a early riser but there was one thing that always got the white-haired boy ready and looking forward to the afternoon. Coffee. With a grumble, he pushed the sheets from his body and prepped himself. As he rubbed the sleep from his eyes, using the bottom of his palm, Naga headed towards the door but tripped over the corner of his sheets and fell straight to the ground. "Stupid sheets ...", he mumbled as he pushed himself back onto his feet and throwing the corner back onto the bed. Trying this again, he headed for the door, this time actually paying attention to where he was stepping, and left his room.
It took him a couple minutes to make it out of the building and across the street where he ordered a double shot espresso. With the coffee in hand, he drank a bit before coming to sit at any table that was close enough, which happened to already have someone occupying it. Setting the drink down, with a soft sigh, Kuninaga glanced towards the girl before him as she read her book. With a slight tilt of his head, his eyes squinted a bit to read the cover of it before he returned his attention towards her. "What are you reading?", his asked her, his voice a bit gruff in tone.

Having gotten up fairly early, Gumi was presently enjoying this spring break. She sat at the base of an oak tree, her hands behind her head as she leaned against it. With a content sigh, the girl looked up through the leaves of the tree towards the clear sky, enjoying the quietness around her. However, that feeling wasn't going to last that long. Especially with the girl being as social as she was. Just as quickly as it was nice and peaceful, she started to get restless, wondering who was around that she could talk to and pass the time with. With her hands falling to the grassy ground, she pushed herself onto her feet and took in her surroundings. No one seemed to be coming out here, thus motivating her to take to the halls. Surely she was bound to cross someone's path and hopefully they were willing to have a conversation. However, knowing that there were likely some late risers, there was also the possibility that they might not even be fully awake to ever want to. Whatever the case, Gumi didn't care. All she cared about was making friends with people.

Keiran had only recently arrived in town and would be starting school at the academy once spring break was over, so his grandpa suggested he go check out the school while running errands. Reluctantly Kieran decided to go check it out but to be honest, Keiran would have rather just stayed at his old school. Why did his parents even care if he was a proper vampire or not? But, hey, at least he would be able to see his old childhood friend, right? Well, that is she remembered him, it's been a long time after all.

"Which I guess is a little weird to be reading." she said.

The sudden startled reaction the girl gave caused Kuninaga's brow to raise as he watched the cup leave her hand and shatter on the ground. Although she apologized, the boy didn't seem to really register it, mostly because he hadn't a clue why she was in the first place. His expression showed puzzlement but cleared up quickly, a small smile forming on his lips "It's fine. I didn't mean to startle you.", he he replied and looked to her book again for only a moment before he took notice to her picking up the pieces of the cup. Without hestitation, Kuninaga assisted her with the task and placed them on the table, listening as she answered his previous question. It was a little bit strange that it was a vampire romance novel but he didn't really judge it mentally. "If you are interested in that type of thing, I don't see it as weird to read."The fair skinned vampire started to wonder just what that book was like to read, which gave him a reason to question her again. "How is it? What's it like?"
