Each of the carasoul horsea is worth an early 09 rare, the corgi is a later 09 rare, the Tess horse is a mid-late 09 rare and the malk horse is an 09 rare

Would anyone mind telling me what a tier is when it comes to trading? I am very confused when everyone is saying "Oh that pet is a tier 4," or "That pet isn't worth a tier 6"

They are referring to the Rares List of Pets. They are the rarest pets in the game ranked by rarity, availability, demand and a couple other things.
