Lily follows Cas to the couch and sits down beside him. She grabs the controller that was handed to her. She rolls her eyes slightly at what Cas says. "I know." she says in response. She looks to the TV as the game began. "Uh, sure. I'll play as Sheva." she says as she gets comfortable in her seat. "I do have to warn you that I only played a small part of this a few years back, so I'm going to be a little rusty." she pauses for a few seconds. "And by rusty, I mean not knowing how to play the game at all. I'll try my best though." she jokes. It was an exaggeration, but she felt like she had warn him about it.

Jessie tried her best to stop the tears, but it was no use. Instead she looks down, letting some of her hair fall and cover her face. She hoped that it would help hide her tears. She didn't make any movement when he spoke again quietly. She could of swore his hands was reaching out to her in the corner of her eye. She figured she was just seeing things. When he asked her if they were close, she nods her head slowly. "Close is an understatement." she says. "She was like my sister." A sad smile appears on her face. "I have known her since I was in kindergarten. We were always with each other until I moved." The smile faded after she said that. "We would still hang out once in a while and I would write letters and stuff, but we drifted apart, especially this past year when I moved again to here." she looked up slightly at the slide in front of her. "I guess that's why she wanted to visit. She was on her way here when she died." Her voice was shaking when she spoke. She glances at Clayton slightly before saying, "Sorry, I shouldn't bother you with my rambling."

When her tears came on once more, he could tell she didn't want him to see. His eyes lingered on how her hair fell to veil her face before turning around to stare at the tree again. At her statement at how close they were, he couldn't help but think of Skylar. He didn't have any siblings to speak of, but she always felt like a close younger sister to him. He couldn't even begin to imagine what it would be like if something happened to her, and suddenly Jessica's pain seemed all too real to him. It was so much more than hurt, he realized. He was especially taken away when she told him their background, and thought briefly that maybe there was just a tiny bit of guilt in there, too. Distracted by the quiver in her voice, it took him a moment to register her apology. "No, don't apologize. I'm glad you can open up to me," he murmured honestly. "I'm not bothered. Besides, it's a good thing to talk it out when something happens." His toes shuffled in the sand again. "Otherwise it just eats you up from the inside out." He wouldn't be afraid to admit that some of his advice came from those self-help shows his mother insisted on watching, so he hoped it worked. He slid a glance at her from the corner of his eyes.
