@Anaphea: Uh, yeah I can imagine that a cat, who has to live together with dogs, has to be a little bit more active x

Thank you really much.
Oh wow O.o Well...it seems he hat also a little bit too much energy in the end :'D

Aw, that's seems really cute x3 Somehow I want to cuddle your cat right now xDD
But my Rusty is somehow similar - he always wants to be mature, but is a real scaredy cat and always comes running to me if he's afraid of something xD (He is also my little mommy boy x3)

Hm, that's really sad :/
But I believe you that he was a really really good boy and I'm sure he has a good time in cat heaven now :3

Oh, this seems really a little bit difficult :'D
When it comes to this cats really are like humans xD Well, I believe this could get quite funny and interesting from now on xD

Oh, don't worry (:
I mean - this IS a Cat Chat xD And I love to hear and read about other people's cats because I love this cute and wonderful pets totally <3

greetings

As soon as I lay out some papers to work on, she comes and lays down on them
Whenever I go to sit down somewhere, she's suddenly there... in my spot
She refuses to snuggle with me in the day when I want, but insists on snuggling at 2 am

Oh yes! And when you start to write they like to play with the pen too lol.

I have 4 cats, all of which will do this to an extent. Except stetta, but she only really likes men so she doesn't bug me too much lol.

Rupi likes to knock stuff down on purpose. He will literally wait until you are looking, and then knock something down while looking at you in the face. He's a sweetie though. Loves to snuggle.

Tippy is playful and just likes to get into everything, same as Lily. Especially if you have food..

Furmimators aren't the best brushes, get a slicker brush and a comb.

My tortoise shell cat Molly is being strange at the moment,
Usually she will jump into my bed and just sleep on my legs or beside my feet, but at the moment she's attempting to bury her head into my neck, snuggle up really close and lick my face,
I thought, since we got her young, that she might be attempting to suckle like she would for milk with her mother, because I have another cat at my dads place who does that. But she's not doing that at all.
And when I attempt to move her away from my neck she attacks my face and arm.
Anyone's cat ever done this?
Or is Molly just a psycho?

Okay, thank you! I hear a lot of people suggesting slicker brushes, is it also true that shedding rakes in general are bad? I can guess why. I guess it's because it could damage the skin of cats? I don't want that... And I am planning to get one soon because it's shedding season and... It's my first cat, so when she coughed up a hairball.. I was disgusted. But of course I cleaned it up. I don't want to have to do that again though, so.. (secret: i covered it with baking soda and then used a paper towel, it was.. not solid.. it was.. wet..)
Anyway, thanks for your help! It really is very.. Err, helpful?

Molly isn't a psycho! She's just charismatic c: Cats have their weird quirks. Maybe she wants attention? You should pet her c:
Like for instance, my cat has a phobia. Of leather bags..

@non the rakes can sometimes cut the skin, and damage the coat, I believe. Slicker brushes are very helpful in general, it brushes the loose undercoat away, and also untangles them, especially in long haired cats. A comb is very helpful too, I use both of them, the slicker first and then the comb, I use a comb with rotating bristles as it glides through the fur.
