Rosekit scampered after Birchkit and shivered. "It's cold. Why don't we go in there?" She flicked her tail to a nearby den [the apprentice den lol].

Birchkit nodded. "Good idea." She squeaked quietly as she started padding into the den. They were enough away from Stripestar that looking there way he wouldn't see them due to their white, snow plastered pelts, and they were also out of his hearing range so he wouldn't hear them talking if they were quiet. Wisteria might be in the den, so it was worth a shot. She looked around at all the seemingly large cats compared to the cold, shivering scrap that was Birchkit. She scanned the scene for Wisteria. She got the idea that Rosekit didn't know what they were looking for, so she tried to fill her in. "Remember that cat that came into the den earlier? We're looking for her. She seems nicer than Stripestar."

"Ohhhhh, okay. I liked her." Rosekit meowed, glad to be away from the den she had lived in for forever.

Birchkit nodded. "Mhm. That's why I'm gonna go over to her, because she's not mean like the others. They don't like me, so this person. Might." After further inspection she had determined that there she wasn't in there, so she turned to look outside the den. There were still other dens she could check. The one where the kits were, the one that smelled bad (med cat den) and some others that she had never been in. "Let's go look somewhere else." She mewed, turning back to her sister.

Cloudgaze
"They have? Oh thats good." Cloudgaze tried to sound happy for her kits' sake but in truth she was wondering why Spottedkit was so afraid. He had no past traumatic experience to base his fear of seemingly everything off of or anything. She carefully licked her son with a reassuring purr and murmured, "It's alright Spottedkit. Nothing is going to hurt you."

Tinypaw
Tinypaw was just finishing up making up a fresh nest for himself when the kits entered the den. His blue-grey eyes locked on the kits and he frowned. "What are you doing in here?" He asked the both of them. He didn't sound angry or anything, just curious.

Spottedkit was calmed by his mother's soft words and his wails were reduced to whimpering. This bad smelling cat was still scary, and he didn't like it.

Birchkit gave a little jump as the kits were acknowledged, as she had not expected anyone to do so. "We're looking for someone." She explained simply to Tinypaw.

"Shhhhhh. Don't tell anyone we're here, Rosekit told the apprentice before adding, "I'm Rosekit and this is Birchkit. We're looking for a cat. I think I heard that her name was Wisteria."



"Don't worry. I won't hurt you. You don't have to be scared." Silverleaf meowed to Spottedkit, then turned to Cloudgaze. "I have to go back now. Patchfrost has a bad cough."

Spottedkit mostly stopped his whimpering, as this cat didn't seem to be a threat. He pressed his face into Cloudgaze's fluffy fur, under the mentality that if he couldn't see them they couldn't see him.

Robinkit continued building the broken wall along with Dapplekit, not cold due to being close to the den. The broken wall was fixed quickly with the two of them, and she took a step back to admire their work. "Should we continue?" She asked.

Sparrowkit had delayed opening her eyes due to not wanting to do anything. The commotion was too loud though, so she opened her eyes and frowned. Everything was so ugly! The food fluff had weird eyes, her siblings didn't look like her, and the den looked weird. She hissed as long as she could before starting to waddle over to the food fluff to give her a piece of her mind.
