» Ember was usually one to exist his comfort zone, and he knew he probably shouldn't've ( heh ) followed him, but he did anyway. The tom padded after him and chuckled "You're a miracle worker Pip, I'm actually listening to you." Ember flicked his tail back and forth nervously.

Pinepaw smiled, "I'm glad to hear that, Bean. Luckily, we're very close by. I should probably add that we don't have a leader or deputy as of now because of the storm. In fact, more than half of us were killed. That's why we're looking for recruits, sorry I didn't tell you," he looked at his own paws, ashamed.

» Ember looked over at Pip as he described what his clan has gone through. "That's alright, I knew that there was a storm" He paused but shrugged at the thought of telling him about what he'd seen right after. "Storms affect rogues too" The tom chuckled "Right after I found a few-" Ember slowly trailed off, realizing this was inappropriate and unnecessary to share "Neeeeevermind" He elongated the syllables in an attempt to avoid the subject.

Pinepaw blinked up at him, "Oh, um, alrighty then." He laughed and looked around as they neared the camp. He gulped and then stepped in and scanned the area, looking for a warrior or an older cat who could help with the current situation.

» Ember chuckled nervously but gave a sigh of relief as they seem to let go of the subject. He followed Pip into their camp and gazed around. "Hmm, different than I expected" He observed. The tom wandered off towards one of the dens and peeked inside. "Interesting" He muttered.

Pinepaw awkwardly followed the cat as he explored the camp. He held his breath nervously in hopes that he wouldn't get yelled at by anyone. He saw Hiddenclaw and turned away, maybe she would say something, he hoped she would but at the same time he didn't.

» Ember turned around and noticed a she-cat in the camp. "Excuse me" He called to the she-cat ( Hiddenclaw ) and then turned back to Pip. The tom winked at him and looked up at the she-cat. "Do you guys have a leader or something?" He asked calmly.

HiddenClaw turned suddenly at the unfamiliar voice. She scented PinePaw on the rogue... 'Great StarClan, has PinePaw brought a ROGUE in here? She thought irritably to herself. "Who are you?" HiddenClaw growled.

Pinepaw swallowed and then looked up at the older she-cat, "This is Bea- I, um, I mean Ember. I found him outside of camp. He didn't seem to have anywhere to go, so I um, I brought him here. I heard some others talking about having to resort to bringing outsiders into the clan," he dipped his head, "Sorry."
