» Ember stood to his paws and lightly shook out his pelt. "The name's Ember, but you can call me, Em, Emb, Ber, any of the above, all of the above.." He stopped for a moment to take a breath "Really anything, I don't mind.. especially because I'm calling you Pip. Short for Pipsqueak of course".

Pinepaw narrowed his eyes, "Hey, that's not fair! Then I'm calling you... Bean. Like beanstalk." He smiled to himself and nodded, observing the tall cat, proud of his "clever" naming.

{Yup! I posted something for Flightpaw to Snowcry a bit earlier, here ya go}

Flightpaw finally arrived back to camp with the others and stretched, he padded to the medicine cat's den and looked around for Snowcry, maybe today they could go and look around for herbs, and by doing that he could learn more about them. If he was going to be a medicine cat, he decided that he'd better get involved.

» Ember tilted his head to one side. "Bean?" He repeated the young tom with a small chuckle. "Listen Pip, I'm not sure if that will stick" He smiled at the apprentice's surprising spunk.

Pip Pinepaw flicked his tail, "We'll just have to find out for ourselves, then. So... you're... not from a clan, correct?"

» Ember nodded in reply. "Yeah, I live alone, strictly following the wind" He chuckled at that weird response. "From what I notice about most clan cats, I just don't think I fit in to that lifestyle" He shrugged slightly as he spoke.

Pinepaw gulped, "Er, uh..." he looked at his paws and then look back up at Ember and blurted out, "Would you like to see StormClan, though? We're really in need of new members and you could just see if you like it... then if not, it's no problem! You could just go back to living alone!" He breathed heavily, looking up at the tom hopefully. He overheard some older cats talking about having to possibly resort to bringing outsiders into the clan, so hopefully they wouldn't mind. Currently, though, the clan was basically in complete turmoil. But Ember didn't have to know that.

» Ember was surprised at the gesture. After all, he had practically traumatized the small cat. "Alright" He agreed "Anything for you Pip" The tom smiled and shrugged "Shall we go now?" He asked.

Overall, Pinepaw was really taken aback by the cat's kindness, "Yea, that'd be good, Bean," he decided, normally he would'nt've (double contractions ftw) been able to talk to anyone he'd just met, perhaps it was just a spur of the moment type of thing. "I'll take you to camp," he decided.

Flightpaw cleared his throat, "Snowcryyyyy," he yawned and then continued his search through the den, "Since things are finally a little calmer do you think that we should we go look for more herbs? Then I could learn more about what they do and we could still be helping the clan," he stated.
