That Splatfest was completely legendary. <3 The pressure was real; the battles were so intense. Team Callie was a complete force out there; I'm so glad the results turned out to be so close. I was hoping they would be. And in the latter half of the struggle, we got to face off to the most legendary, "this-is-it" song in the game. Absolute perfection. <3
I actually cried when the results were revealed. I'm not even kidding; my eyes were so covered in tears, I almost had little streams going down my face. I was that happy. ;w; (You'd not believe how nervous I was the night before; I had plenty of trouble sleeping, thinking I had let our team down or something. >w>; )
Also, when I saw the results, I noticed that Team Marie wasn't that much bigger than Team Callie compared to some of the other Splatfests we've had. That made me really happy, because it always seems like Callie has way fewer fans than Marie, and it makes me kind of sad. I think Callie deserves plenty of fans, too. <3
Back to the announcement, I thought Marie's reaction to the results (at least in my version of the game (NA)) was great. xD She was so extremely surprised. I'm never forgetting that moment.
Anyway, good job, my fellow fighters for Team Marie. Good job to Team Callie, too, for putting up such a fierce fight. I'm so glad that this Splatfest turned out exactly the way it did. <3

Funny how the last Splatfest would be the only Splatfest I lost in, but that's alright. I did everything I could to make it possible for my team to win, especially the games where I was going 9-1, but I'm glad the results ended closely. It makes me feel not so bad about losing haha

Such an amazing final Splatfest; I think it was definitely a worthy finale. :'3 It felt like both teams were really giving it their all out there. And it got even more intense on the second day, when they changed the battle music; that was such a pleasant surprise. <3
I was on Team Marie for this Splatfest (though I honestly think both Squid Sisters are great; it was hard having to side with just one. ;3;); good job, guys~ And I'm happy that Team Callie did so well, too; I was hoping it would be a good, close battle like this. Good job~ >w<

Ah, I haven't posted here in a really long time, but I thought now was a good time to hop back in. I wasn't actually able to participate in this Splatfest which kinds of sucks, but it's really nice that I get to hear about it from you guys! It sounds like it was a lot of fun, and I wish I had been able to play too! I actually looked it up and watched the results of the Splatfest, and Marie's reaction was really cute. I definitely would've been team Callie though. Anyway, I might be playing in a bit, if anyway wants to set up a game or something?

They displayed those scores here, too. I've heard that they actually combined the results from both the North American/European and Japanese versions of the Splatfest, then announced them as one, which I think is neat. Even though the Japanese players only fought people from their own region this time, what happened there still affected everything, so it was like they were still playing with us.

Hey there again~ It's OK; even if you didn't participate, you can still enjoy the extremely special atmosphere the whole thing brought with it. >w> The celebration will still go on for ages... To me, at least. xD
And also, hearing that, I find myself torn, both wanting to join in battling and wanting to finish collecting event tokens here on CS. (Splatfest, while 101% worth it, majorly distracted me from the Summer Event here.) Decisions. ;-;

Hnnnngh. I'm still wowing over the whole event of the Splatfest, though. ;3; Thinking about how perfectly everything wrapped up, and how that was the grand finale, it's just... emotional stuff. I still smile and get a little misty every time I re-read the dialogue for the NA-version results announcement.

Aaaahh; yesterday, we got a few Splatoon plushies, and they're so adorable. ;w; The first two (Callie and Marie), which we ordered online a few days ago, arrived in the morning. Then, a little later in the day, we went to EB Games to pick up the others (An Inkling boy and an Inkling girl, which we had pre-ordered about a month ago, I think)~ They're all really soft, and the Squid Sisters' costumes are made of a nice, shimmery fabric that looks colorful in some lighting. @o@ <3
