This event had a pinboard featuring event-themed art created by users. The pinboard's location was named "Souvenir Photos" and there was a new title and subtitle on the pinboard at least once per day:

In every event, system accounts named after the NPCs are set up, and our trade history shows our token trade-ins as actual trades with these system accounts. Until this event, that was the only function of the NPC system accounts. This is the first event where some of the system accounts also had forum posts; the NPCs interacted directly with users on forum threads! Alegria was in Name that Carnival!, and both Alegria and Tanya were in Dumpster Divers Investigations Inc.

The carnival was named by users, and Alegria says that the full name is "Alegria's Grande Cirque du Poulet" in her heart even though it couldn't all fit on the Kiosk.

While one of Alegria's legs is naturally covered by her dress and is not actually edited out of her image, Lacuna, who helped plan the event, said that she imagines Alegria to have only three legs.

The unnamed orange dog at the Snax Bar is from July 2017 and is Puck's assistant. See this oekaki by Vampiric and this post by Alegria.

Ryder's rat is their assistant and is called Waite.

Ryker, which is the ship name for Ryder x Barker, is canon! And Vampiric made fanart of them.

Shareef is cousins with the Halloween 2018 dog who looks like a circus performer with a hat and a long orange jacket. See this post and this oekaki, both by Vampiric.

A little bit of my headcanon for the dragons that I thought up while I was making them, for those who are interested hehe:

Mom and Dad can be rather enthusiastic with their fire shows...you could say their performances are quite...explosive. So they put me in this hat and gave me this hose and call me "Risk Mitigation". Whatever that's supposed to mean.

Woah! The synchronized dreams of thousands of sleepy Chicken Smoothians have made Dreamland come to life!

No wonder the town residents keep complaining about bad dreams, it looks like the Nightmares have taken over control of Dreamland and exiled the Dreams to the floating isles! You'd better take a look around and see if anybody needs your help. Maybe you can rid the population of Nightmares so Sleepywood can sleep peacefully once more... or will you choose to join the Nightmare rebellion?

Oh hey, we don't get many visitors out here! Won't you stay and chat?

We moved to these mini islands to get away from all the drama in Dreamland. When I first came here we were members of opposing armies. Nightmares fighting Dreams, Dreams fighting Nightmares, it was chaos. But then we met and began a forbidden friendship. No-one could understand our feelings, as we were supposed to be sworn enemies, but we just felt such a strong connection. We don't belong among the Dreams or the Nightmares anymore, so we only have each other for company.

Here are the deeds to some of our less used mini-islands, in case you wanted to be neighbors....

Ravens (Noir):

There's no cell-phone reception up here in Dreamland, so we use ravens to carry our messages. It's kind of lonely up here but I pass the time making dream catchers out of all the loose feathers. You should take one!

Today I've got some magpie dreamcatchers to share don't forget to come back tomorrow to see what other feathers I've collected!

Lately our birds haven't brought in any mail. I'm not sure if they're delivering our messages at all. We put in an order at the furniture store and haven't had any reply. Can you bring this order form to the store and check if they have a package waiting for us?

Dreamers Castle:

Oh I'm sorry, you must think we've been terrible party hosts! We were so looking forward to having guests visit our castle, but then the Nightmares staged another attack and we had to go into battle.

We're the leaders of the Dreamers. It's our duty as Dreamers to visit the dreams of Sleepywood citizens so that they can have peaceful rest. We used to have control of all of Dreamland, but a few years ago the Nightmares moved in and exiled us to these islands. It's been a constant struggle for control ever since, but this recent wave of Nightmares is the worst ever!
