I managed to hatch a 2km egg without leaving my house
No, I didn't use a ceiling fan or record player. On IPhone, opening Pogo and then leaving it open and opening another app messes with the GPS, so it loses your location for a moment when you open it back up, and the player will walk around trying to figure out where they need to be

So, I managed to do that enough to hatch a Bulbasaur

I do that sometimes too, but instead of opening another app, I just close Pogo for about 5 minutes and open it again. The GPS takes time to locate where I am so the character moves around for a bit.
