Silverpaw awoke to a paw prodding her. "Wha…" she meowed, then saw Leafpaw after her eyes cleared out the sleepiness. "Oh, Leafpaw, hi." She said, yawning. "Is it morning?"

Deerpelt gazed at the dead body before replying. "I think so." He than left the queen. He dipped his head to RussetStar's dead body. "You were a good leader, and deserved more." He then sat down. The next leader would be CinderStar. He trusted the she-cat, but this change was going to be hard on the clan.

Leafpaw smiled at the sleepy apprentice and nodded, mewing, yes, it is, would you like to share a squirrel with me?

Sunstorm purred as she padded into camp, with two mice hanging from her mouth. She had had a very nice morning, as nice as a early Newleaf morning could get mind you ,and gone out hunting, since it was still early to see what she could find and try to bring back something for the clan to eat,and had been successful. It was hardest to find prey this time of year but as the moons went by, it got easier and easier, she sighed as she set the mice down in the pile, there wasn't alot in it, only a few mice and a vole. She sighed as her stomach growled and debated with herself on whether or not to take something, before turning and returning to just outside the Warriors den, shaking out her fur gently, deciding other could eat before her, it helped get her mind off the recent death of their leader, though she was never really close to him, she still respected him and would miss his kind words and wisdom that came from leading for so many moons .

Emberclaw winced as he shifted in his nest, he had taken a hit to his shoulder the day before and now there was a gash. Though he had visited Silentstep, it still hurt and he supposed that's what happens when he couldn't keep one day in front of the other. It didn't help that he was a newer warrior and had gone through a rough leafbare, though he was realized that his sister, Sunstorm had made it through another season as well. He sighed as he watched the cats mourn for their former leader, he was surprised that he had died but it didn't really affect him all that much as he wasn't too close to the leader, but it still hurt that he had left them to join Starclan.
