Welcome to modern day Earth. No one believes in gods and magic anymore, right? I mean, they don't exist! Everyone knows that. What if I told you that wasn't true? You'd ask for proof I guess. Well....

The King of the Demons has come to Earth with every intent of ruling it. He came so close to his goal that the Angels got involved. The armies of Heaven and Hell clashed with a fury that Humanity had never seen. This war was destroying many cities, towns, forests, great natural landmarks, and the Human Race decided this needed to stop.

So the humans formed their own army. This was an army of elites, from every race, gender, sexuality, all fighting for the good of humanity. They were willing to risk everything to stop this war that was destroying their world. The rest of the people who were not frontline soldiers built a great city that replaced all the destroyed homes. This city was surrounded by 50 meter walls. Many live ordinary lives, each trying to forget the war that rages on just outside the walls of their peaceful lives.

So, who are you?

Are you an Elite? Determined to take as many Demons and maybe even Angels down to protect your friends, family and world?
You have a good choice of weaponry to pick from, such as swords to guns and most in-between. No nukes though.(At least not yet!) You can work in small teams of four, or you can work solitary. Each group needs a leader.
Most elites are fit and athletic, and highly capable with most tasks. They are very cunning and intelligent, and work well under pressure.

Are you a Demon? Fighting for his Demonic Highness so you may live on a habitable world that has everything you could ever want?
If you are not a General, you have average Demon abilities, including the power to change into human form at will, and create minor spells, such as: the ability to heal minor wounds, create minor explosions (similar to a hand grenade). You serve the Demon Lord Satan, and live under command from his Generals in battle. You are skilled with most human weapons.
If you are a General, you have slightly more power to do with it what you wish. Such as: the power to change into any form at will, the ability to heal major, but not fatal, wounds, create major explosions (similar to an aerial bomb). You report directly to the Demon Lord. You are skilled with most human weapons.
Any demons' greatest weakness are holy weapons. Just one good blow with a holy weapon will end a Demons' life quickly and ensures it would never rise again.

Are you an Angel? Trying to stop the Demons and protect the very humans that are hunting you?
If you are an Angel, you are skilled with most Earth weapons, and if you chose to fight with a weapon, it is imbued with holy power, one of the fastest ways to kill a Demon and make sure it stays down. Like the Elite, you work well under pressure, are intelligent and physically fit and agile. You have wings, coloured depending on your personality.
You have sworn to protect the humans from the Demons and report to the Generals, or if you are one of the Generals, the Leader.


Are you a Townie? Doing your best to live a normal life in a battle ravaged world?
Townies live a sheltered life, rarely venturing out of the city. They do all of the normal jobs, such as keeping shops, farming and such. They pay the taxes that go towards the Elites' equipment and training. If you are a Townie age 14+ you are entitled to audition and maybe train to be an Elite.

This is the walled city, Gravetonia.
Where the townies live their lives. The Elites occasionally visit and Angels and Demons are rarely, if ever, permitted inside. Usually in chains. The wall is very strong and is sealed by a gift from the Angels a long time ago. This enables the walls to never be broken and means Demons and Angels are unable to access the city from the air. It has three entrances. Only two are known of.


Jigoku, where the Demons hide.
Entering will mean almost certain death for any Angel or Human that enters it, as this is where the Demon King resides. The Demon King rarely leaves this base, and if one wishes to assassinate him, they must face the full fury of Demonkind.


This is Tengoku, where the Angels hang out.
Tengoku is like the Heaven most Humans dream of. Like a palace, the Angel base has everything needed for a comfortable life. Most Demons daren't enter this kingdom as it is full of holy weaponry that could easily be used to destroy them. The Humans cannot reach it, as it is always drifting on the clouds that blow across the plains. Very few Humans have ever visited and no Demons have come back alive. Apart from the Demon King.
