How would you all like to be able to combine all the jars you own into one image of them together? I think it'd look a whole lot cooler instead of displaying them separately, and you can save a few hundred characters if you're posting in your trade rules!

Aside from that, anyone have an actual idea for the workings of the aquatic event? I do have one, but it's kind of boring :B

Beside the affiliating thing, I have another kind of important question that I've posted on the fanclub (also to bnup it a little ;w;), and I'd appreciate it if you gave me some answers!

what kinds of plants and stuff are you looking for? I can do some research and see what I can find!

as for the combining idea, I think it would be cool like once you reach three jars you can combine them because I think it may look weird for the prole who only have two jars *cough cough* me *cough cough* but other than that, I love the idea!

Any aquatic plants at all, it doesn't mater what type of water, etc. The only requirement is that it is a real thing, and is 90% underwater since there is very limited space between the top of the water and the bottom of the lid. However I can do that stuff myself, I'm more looking for input on how the main part of the event will run such as the fishing/hunting events that other people hold (which I think has kind of gotten boring and have a slightly more complex idea, but I don't want to make you work too hard for it so I'm not sure what to do).

Could you share what your idea is?
I'm thinking for the animals, there could be a little story contest or maybe something along the lines of 'how would you take care of them?'. It's not really amazing or different, but maybe it can get your wheels turning. c:

Also, I think the idea of putting them altogether is awesome! I do plan on getting more jars, and it'd be cool if they could all be put together like that.

Well, the easy way out would just be to do a fishing event, obviously.
Other ideas included an interactive event story (which requires code, which I can do, but it'll probably be more complicated than I think it'll be); a tetris-inspired sort of thing where each item has a size (e.g. two squares), and it'll work a little like the stamp collection on CS where you can only get what you can fit into the given space.

Side events (also for animal winnings) will include a lucky string game and a take it or continue-and-risk-losing-but-if-you-make-it-you-might-get-an-animal game, but that's all I could think of that hasn't been done before.

By the way, the event itself is just for collecting plants, you won't be able to add them into the tanks until afterwards otherwise I'll have so much stuff to do I probably wouldn't be able to keep track of it all ;v;

@roar. I think the minimum might be two, but it'll have to be more expensive the less jars you put together (the more jars at a time the more likely I won't have to do it more than once per person) until you have so many jars to put together that it's free. Unless I get a better idea, of course.

Those all seem plausible and i think they're pretty good ideas. If I'm right in knowing what you're talking about, I think the interactive thing could work. Unless it would cause some sort of problem to make the code public, so it's like anybody can join if they choose.

It's less of a problem about making it public, but more because I can't stop people from refreshing the page or going back if they get an ending they don't like with the public code sites that are out there. Also, seeing the same story a bunch of times would be really boring, and people would soon memorize the whole thing...

Ah I guess you're right to be concerned about the result that might have. Doesn't seem like it would work as well, now that you've brought up those points

I think combining them is a really neat idea!

I think making composites could be a cool idea!
I wouldn't even mind if there was a small seaglass fee (like 50) to have them all put into a single image.
It could be a bit challenging if people keep making jars, though, so perhaps if there was a requirement, say 5-6 jars per image?

Also I'll be catching up on the Fanclub to give more suggestions/questions, etc. bc I haven't read here that recently tbh eve
