EDIT: An add on, I've heard rumours about the naming of Eevees to make them evolve into the one you want.... I want to know if anyone did it and it actually worked for them?

It worked for me! Named my eevee Sparky, and evolved into Jolteon.

From what I understand the naming thing is a throwback to the original show with the first 3 eevelutions: Jolteon, Vaporeon, and Flareon.

In the show there were 4 trainers who each had eevees, and 3 had evolved ones, "Mikey, had a standard Eevee, while his older brothers each had one of the original three evolutions. Rainer had Vaporeon, Sparky had Jolteon and Pyro had Flareon." (From here http://www.polygon.com/pokemon-go/2016/7/16/12205402/pokemon-go-eevee-evolution)

So far it has yet to be disproved by any trainer so as far as we know naming eevees to get a respective eeveloution is accurate .w.

I just tried the nickname trick to get a Vaporeon. It works but I was hoping for a higher CP. Might have to power him up, I don't want to transfer him!

Speaking of which...

Do you have a Pokemon you'll never ever transfer?
I have one, an Eevee named Angel. I caught her on the grounds of my old church which is a place that holds a lot of great memories and great people. I'll never transfer her, even though it's a little weird to be this sentimental over an Eevee.

Mm... I really want a Bulbasaur! I headed on a walk with my family one day (to catch Pokemon of course!) and we walked to a park. The thing is, my phone (iPhone 5) kinda really hates Pokemon go... I actually think it's my service. Anyway, I kept getting kicked out of the server and it's always take a long time to get back on. So, we arrived at the park, where we sat in between 2 lure modules and waited for the Pokemon. And... I got kicked out of the server! How convenient, because just at that time, a wild Bulbasaur appeared! I watched in agony as the rest of my family captured it. Then, when I was able to get back on, it was gone ;-;

Meowth. I haven't even seen it in the tracker yet.


I really wish trading would become a feature later on.

So I decided to make a drawing of my 1st gen dream team for pokemon. I hope to get each pokemon in pokemon go!


I made them proportionate to size best i could using the original pokemon pokedex sizes.
