Just popping in today it would be pretty cool of mcr got back together and if they do i am predicting their music just won't be the same. When they where together back then their music changed a lot from first the last album and in my opinion as the band progressed they started to conform more to their audience than to who they really are.

Yep, pretty certain that if they do announce a new album, it'll have a different sound. They are known for changing it up a bit for each album, but still capturing that general "MCR-ness". Even if the style they go for isn't our favorite, at least they'll still play older stuff at the concerts. I feel like for me, if they do make a new album, it will probably be something I'd like, since I haven't heard a song by them that I didn't like

Well at least they acknowledged all of the love they still have, and I heard speculation that the special release might have previously unreleased songs on it? I had honestly said that MCR has moved on and it was unlikely for them to get back together a few days before the teaser, but maybe perhaps they're aware now of how much they are still loved and may decide to do something another time. But I respect that they have their own lives now, and won't expect them to unless they decide to drop something else like this haha
