This sucks hardcore. I live in a huge city and mostly started playing for the first time while I was walking downtown where there's a poke stop every 25 feet and a Pokemon every time you turn around.... Now I'm home and there's nothing. Zero. Zip. Zilch. 4 blocks to the nearest Pokestop and I've only come across one Pokemon. It's not even like I left the city, I'm still surrounded by houses and stores and stuff just not downtown.

I think it was released that you can find more and rare pokemon in areas of high cell usage. Aka, where theres a swarm of go players, go with. Rare pokemon will appear. Aka, like downtown in a huge city brought me a 1189 Snorlax, a 776 Electabuzz, etc..

Really? I ran out of my house at 8 in the morning to go find a nearby Vulpix that was only 10cp. Vulpix is my favorite so I had to do it lol.

I totally get that, but I mean, I live in a huge apartment building, in a set of 4 apartment buildings, in a huge housing complex.... Would think it would be a teensy bit more populated than one Pokemon in the area lol

how many pokemon do you have?: it says 45, but i have 36, what is this nonsense???

you guys are getting rare pokemon??? the best i've found was a CP 463 golbat, but most in my area have a CP of ~40/50, maybe 100 something. the rarest pokemon come from eggs; i got a snorlax with a CP of 400 the other day. :D
i can't really complain though because everyone is doing it here, it's great. (though now i can't go outside to be alone anymore... :/)

I caught my dream pokemon today...a Growthlite....probably didn't spell it right, it was only a CP 55, but I finally got one and it made my day.
