I have so, so, so much appreciation for these items, I don't even know where to put them all. There's so many of them! Shout out to the artist(s?) for giving us so many different ones, it is wonderful to have such variety.

I am sooo immensely satisfied with the pets today! I have all but the grey cat, and I didn't end up with many doubles. Lilian did a really great job with those alien pets, and I really like the gold and grey cats!

Why do they even put a limit to the banner tokens?

Presumably so that sleepless zombies like me don't get too much of an unfair advantage over people who don't have as much time or dedication to spare.
If there was no limit, some of us could amass hundreds and hundreds of tokens, which would allow us to get more event stuff, which would also be driving its rarity down.
It's one thing when someone gets lots of tokens due to trading fo them, but if we could just generate new ones all the time, it'd make the whole event very unbalanced. There are already enough people who stress out over not having enough time to hunt down banners, so without a limit, the gap between what the average player gets and what someone with more time gets could grow immense.
