- Hollypatch -
The queen watched everything from the entrance of the nursery like she did everyday. She was hungry but wanted to wait until the hunting patrol got back to get some decent prey. It was different than the food she got when she was a kittypet,. This was a lot better tasting but definitely a lot different. She flicked her tail and headed back to her nest.

- Leopardpaw -
The apprentice was a little chest fallen when he didn't get to go on any patrol. His green eyes glanced around for his mentor and saw her talking to the leader. He huffed but he waited for her to hopefully come over soon to go out.

- Falconclaw -
Falconclaw perked his ears more as Ravenstar called his name for the border patrol. It suited him more than hunting did so he watched where the other cats on his patrol gather and joined them. He watched as Russetpaw padded over to him and tilted his head as he listened to the young tom. "I assume so." The warrior answered, uncertainty showed in his eyes.

- Briarheart -
Briarheart flicked an ear as she was called to go on the hunting patrol. This made her happy and feel a little thrilled. She gathered at the entrance of the camp, waiting for the rest of the hunting patrol.

- Dawnflower -
The she-cat yawned softly before getting out of her nest and groomed the moss out of her golden brown pelt. She headed out of the den when everyonewas moving around gathering in patrols and stuff she assumed. It was about the same thing every day but it didn't bother her. The medicine cat appreciated what they did, protecting and feeding the clan and herself. She stalked over to the nearly empty fresh kill pile and pulled out a small mouse that was kind of tough. She went back to her den and ate the mouse without complaining.

- Smokefur -
The elder was still sleeping.

"I'm sure we all are." Ravenstar purred warmly. He glanced around him and noticed that most of the camp was clear, meaning he would probably be able to sneak into the medicine cat's den without anyone noticing. "Your apprentice is looking a little disheartened..." he observed, pointing sympathetically towards Leopardpaw.

"I should go see Dawnflower now before it gets any worse." he said, tilting his right ear towards her den. He dipped his head in parting and headed over to the medicine cat's den.

With the a groan, Weaselfur rose to his paws and padded over to the camp entrance. Sitting down, he flicked the tip of his tail. His green orbs scanned the camp clearing for his apprentice. He wasn't in the mood to drag her along. Why was he even assigned a apprentice. With a grunt, his eyes continued to search for the young cat. (The more we get into the roleplay the better my post will get)

Skirting across the clearing, Ripplepaw pushed into the Den. "Morning!" she said softly, "What're we gonna do today?" The young cat asked. She had already began eyeing down all the medicines, her tail slowly swaying.

bearfoot yawned and got up, passing hollypatch on her way out of the nursery. she flicked her tail and padded into the main part of the camp. the fresh-kill pile was tiny- just a few scrawny rodents, and maybe a bird or two. bearfoot picked out a tiny shrew and took a bite, settling down near the fresh-kill pile to watch the clan.

"Ah, yes," she mewed, spotting Leopardpaw. "Yes. I think he and I will hunt for Hollypatch, Bearfoot, and the elders." She dipped her head to her father, pleased that he was indeed going to see Dawnflower, and padded over to Leopardpaw. "Good morning," meowed Blackfur to the young tom. "Neither of us are on patrol today, so how about we hunt?" She could tell that Leopardpaw was disappointed to not be included on any patrol, but hopefully hunting for the Clan's former warriors and the queens would brighten him up.

His snowy white paws kneaded the ground, somewhat impatiently; not unexpectedly, Weaselpelt was late, and holding the group up but fortunately the prey wasn't going anywhere. Finally, Icestorm spotted the brown-pelted warrior, and exhaled with relief. "Finally, maybe we'll make it out of camp before sunhigh," he meowed to Briarheart and the rest of the patrol.

The instant Tawnypaw spotted her mentor exiting the warrior's den, she dashed off, nearly crashing into him when she skidded to a sudden stop in front of the tom. "Hey!" she meowed, pacing back and forth, suddenly wide awake. "Ravenstar says we're on hunting patrol." Weaselpelt wasn't looking very happy, though Tawnypaw rarely ever saw him as anything but short-tempered and grouchy. He didn't seem to like being a mentor, but Tawnypaw never let that discourage her.

Russetpaw missed the uncertainty in his mentor's tone, instead thinking ahead to what they might encounter on patrol. "I wonder if there'll be trouble," he mused aloud, beginning to pace with excitement as he and his mentor waited for Ivyrose to join them so they could leave. "Maybe there'll be a badger! Icestorm said he smelled that one had crossed the border two sunrises ago, maybe it's come back." The rusty-brown spotted apprentice dropped into a hunting crouch, stalking Falconclaw, who he was pretending was a badger, and swatted at the older tom's paws.

- Hollypatch -
Hollypatch watched Bearfoot walk out to get food but it didn't bother Hollypatch. The queen started to groom her pelt the best she could but it was hard with her swollen belly.

- Leopardpaw -
Leopardpaw's eyes light up when his mentor walked over to him. "Hunting sounds okay." Leaopardpaw said, bummed it wasn't battle training,

- Falconclaw -
Falconclaw watched his apprentice with amusement. "Maybe. Though you have to realize finding a badger is never a good thing." He said to the hyper apprentice and moved his paws a little.

- Briarheart -
Briarheart smiled softly at Icestorm's words but felt a little bad about it. Weaselfur might be very grumpy and mean but least he is respectable and loyal. She looked at the very small fresh kill pile and felt impatient about going. They prey might not be going anywhere but sunlight was and the more time they wait, the less prey they'll catch.

- Dawnflower -
Dawnflower looked at her apprentice and smiled softly and flicked her tail back in a greeting. "Hello." She purred and started looking at their stalk, noticing they were starting to run low on a few herbs. "Looks like we are low on cobwebs, marigold, and tansy." The medicine cat said before noticing someone else enter the den. She turned to see the leader, Ravenstar, standing there. "Hello Ravenstar. So you need something?" Dawnflower asked kindly.

"Nice to see you." He greeted the apprentice, "Let's get going.." The slender tom turn around, he began to make his way to the others. They were already pretty close to the others, so he didn't need to travel much. Arriving to the rest of the group, he nodded. "Sorry for the delay.." The Tom apologized. His head turned over to his Apprentice.

A smile formed on her face, "Grea-" Before she finished, she heard someone coming into the den. Spinning around, she realized it was only Ravenstar. She dipped her head and turned back around. Her eyes ran over all the herbs to see if they were short of anything. It looked like they were in stock of everything; besides what Dawnflower listed.

"As I said, we should get moving now." Ivyrose flicked her tail, signaling for the others in her patrol to follow. She kept her ears perked as she left through the camp entrance.

Maplepaw swiftly looked over at the fresh-kill pile. "There's not much prey.. But is there anything certain you'd like to eat..?" Maplepaw asked the elder, forcing out the each word. Her tail hung between her back legs, slightly flicking from side to side. Her back legs slightly shook.

Snowpaw sat in the apprentice den with her paws tucked beneath her chest and watched the clan. "I don't want to train today, I hope Cottonnose is busy.." She complained to her brother and rolled onto her back to stare at the roof of the den. "Last time I cut my paw open on a stone and the fur on my leg was red for two days."

"I still think you should go find her and it was your fault it got cut, you ran over the rocky part of the shore. You'll never become a warrior with that attitude as well.."
