Personality:
Max is a very friendly Kalon, who doesn't seem to mind his extra weight in the slightest. He meanders about like it's nothing and has the habit of forgetting that he's overweight in the first place, only remembering when he sees his reflection, or someone tells him. Extremely optimistic, Max is hardly in a bad mood, and he does his best to share that positive energy with the kalons that he meets. Because of his personality, however, he tends to overlook serious problems, and acts like they aren't as big of a problem as it really is, which can cause strain in relationships.

Job:
A lifeguard! Because he's such an amazing swimmer, he was almost immediately chosen to be a lifeguard at the local beach. He loves to bring along his flippers and take casual swims in the early morning before the beach opens, but once it does he's on his A game. He hasn't had to save many people but he has had his fair share of kalons getting dragged out by rip currents. Des is not a fan of Max's current employment considering the latter will always try to drag the former out to the job.

Relationships
Des is Max's mate, though neither of them are entirely sure how it happened. Despite their clashing personalities they get along quite well and hardly ever argue, unless Des tries to cook without Max's permission. Des can't cook to save his life and has almost burned down their house multiple times.

Archibolde is one of Des and Max's two kits.

Bethany is one of Des and Max's two kits.
