I've noticed that there has been a pattern for TØP album releases, Self Titled - 2009, RaB - 2011, Vessel - 2013, Blurryface - 2015, even No Phun Intended was released 2 years before Self Titled! People say the blurryface era is over which could be a good thing or a bad thing for ya which ever you prefer but we aren't for sure. I've also noticed in every album their is a theme (blurryface one was a little more obvious) what do you think the next one is going to be? I love hearing twenty one pilot theories, interpretations, and deep thoughts. Also welcome fellow frens!
something more.
way more.
Seriously, something maybe-ish like a Josh Dun ver. of Blurryface?? not his vocals but it sorta aimed to jish

BlurryCat wrote:the only reason for the two year album difference is the fact tha top can only release a album every two years or they have to make one every two years bc of their contract
it's a contract thing. the same thing happens with Taylor Swift too - most bands and artists have a contract that says they have to release at least a single or album every 2 years unless they're broken up (like My Chemical Romance are) or on hiatus (like Fall Out Boy were). but it honestly all depends on the artist and their contract. i know for a fact that FBR and associates usually release a single during the year before the album itself drops - see Panic! At The Disco releasing Hallelujah in April of 2015 when the album didn't hit shelves until January 2016, or Fall Out Boy releasing Centuries in September of 2014 when their album didn't release until January 2015. Overall, we can probably expect new material being relased throughout the year, with the album being released in January or February next year if they decide to follow the trend like their label-mates.

@lyndsey~ im about to go, but quick post before I do to answer your other question: no, Jensen (the owner of the thread) is rarely active. Their personal life is pretty busy, and i don't think they ever expected this thread to grow as much as it did. I was the third member of the cs clique, and i didn't find it until almost a week after it's creation. i didn't ever think we'd have people joining daily like we do now. this thread was created before blurryface dropped, when no one had an inkling as to who blurryface was or why he should care what we think. top was jsut a small band that no one had heard of, and we all expected it to stay that way.
ahhhh, memories.
anyways, no, they're not super active, and that's why they elected three mods in their place. when this thread reaches 900 pages, one of us mods will remake it and prolly share ownership with the other mods? or something. i dunno, it's taken us over a year to reach 100 pages (happy one hundred pages everybody) so that's prolly a while off.
