Summer Event 2016 - Discussion Thread

This is the first event that I know of that has banner pets (With the exception of the last few Halloweens). If anyone who has an older account would like to correct me, then please do!

I believe Halloween has always had banner pets (aside from the very first one since it appears there was just a gift instead of an event). 2012 and onward definitely did, looking back on the threads. I'm unsure about '11 and '10 though as I can't seem to find any thread for those.

Easter's thing is the animal easter egg items rather than pets I believe. As for past summer events..... It looks like there were banner pets for the first summer event (Medieval Faire 2011). The thread I found for the Beach Event (2012) didn't mention anything about a banner pet and there were none for '13, '14, and '15 for sure.

The Medieval Faire was the only Summer Event with the exception of this year's that has banner pets, yes.
They were rather... plentiful, though, compared to now. I sure remember getting flooded with them, haha.

Halloween didn't have banner pets until 2011 either.
The first banner pets were, technically, the Easter bunnies from 2009. However, we also didn't have a token event until Halloween 2009, so during Easter banners were the only way of getting things.

Ugh. Tried tto make a flurffelcone and the items on the pet won't update!! I guess maybe it's because I covered up the pet with a backgroud?

xxxxxSuper late, but try clearing your cache/hard refreshing. If you're 100% sure that you did save the changes, then it's most likely a browser cache error, in which case what I said to do should fix it. If you don't know how to hard refresh or clear your cache, it's easy to look up and follow instructions for ^.^

Finally got the banner butterfly wolf, now I just need the new blue squid and then I can relax till tomorrow

So, just counted up my tokens, and out of 95 banners I have got:

-36 water droplets
-23 ice samples
-35 dirt samples
-1 hamster

so is the ice more rare than the other two or was this just chance, do you think? I don't see why one token would be less common than the others, but who knows...
